panthers are made to destroy tanks, tigers are made to destroy tanks. is2 and t3485s are meant to destroy both infantry and tanks but loses some anti tank capabilities to be better at anti infantry.
no, you're not being clever. panther tanks should not need to use combined arms to beat enemy tanks on a straight up in battle, because a panther is anti tank and it's terrible against infantry.
i just wish that soviet tanks like is2 and t3485s be a bit cheaper since soviets focused on numbers of decent tanks that are good against both kind of enemy targets but not best at either of them.
Yup you find the problem, soviet late game tanks are more expensive and only have moderate AT capabilities but good at AI, and that leads to a problem, cuz only suitable solution to the late game german tank spam is Su-85 not to mention it have been nerfed twice
It's not a wise choice whenever you pay more costy tank in the late game which is lacking AT capability to deal with less expensive tanks |

Dunno if someone saw this, but there is something brewing for the T34/85 and confirmed by Peter (pqumsieh)

The new T34-85 is well equiped to go against German T3. Against heavier tanks, they will still need to use combined arms.

lol, you fool. I play mostly soviets and I just described how to win as Soviets. I'm talking 2v2. Soviets are extremely hard to beat in 2v2 if one players makes FHQ's in key positions.

L2 abuse FHQ's, T70's, 120mm mortars, cons spam, AT Nade RNG oh wait what RNG it crits eng every time. Then just spam SU85 for insta win, as well as cheap 30 muni mines.
FHQ+120 Mortar+T-70+SU-85=Instant win

There's a lot wrong with this game at the moment and this kind if binary RNG is one of them.
Other day I had a vet2 tiger get immobolized (as in, cannot move at all) from a ram from the front on the first try. What the fuck.
Funny thing is though (and this is a separate issue entirely), I thought that was gg right there but it turns out that the vet2 tiger is so tanky that a vet3 Su85, 2AT guns and another T34 couldn't kill it (this was in 2v2, in case you're wondering). What a joke.

Also the heat round ability is 100 penetration.
Isu-152 concrete piercing has the same damage and penetration as a regular shot, but will go through any and all obstacles in the way.
Argh....isu-152....I don't remember last time I could actually afford one, and BTW I noticed the cone sight nerf also applied to isu-152 by accident |
Cata rng is fine as long as it doesnt dictate the game , whats worse is that only one of the nades hit my tanks in the back the rest were on the front . If the rng plays a part in deciding who wins and who loses then the taste it adds is piss poor . Just to clarify , i am not against firefights being dictated by rng or mortar shots either cause that happens often and can be countered by getting the numbers to favor you using cover etc or doing sth else , however when your tank gets blown up cause of that lucky crit thats endgame for y and it just should not happen ( 5% is 1 out of 20 so every few games you are bound to have that happen to you . Also on overextending , due to the p4 top mg which is effective close up you need to be in a medium distance from the frontlines to make use of your p4 otherwise you are effectively digging a whole in the water by purchasing it in the first place . In other areas the rng is just making units like the german howie woefully unnaccurate thus nobody ever builds it unless to troll people
German howitzer is far superior to the soviet 152mm, the CD between volley is only 40s while the soviet one needs more than 60s, although those commanders with 105mm is mediocre |
