KV-1 as soviet end game non-doc tank? Do you all even realize how incompetent KV-1 could possibly be in the late game,a end game slow speed tank with medicore armor plus a short barrel 76mm gun, you folk are better than that.
Upgrade for their guns in their respective buildings like in the Tank Depot for the American Army in COH? I'd agree with that, in fact I had the same idea, just never really did fully realize it sadly.
Good call, make the T34/85 up-gun available after constructing tier 4, and make M4A3 (76) available after murica get their captain or so.
I know that it seems like lame to be using the 75mm sherman and the t34 76, but adding the t34 85 and E8 would just marginalize the base variant even further.
and the t34 76 is actually pretty decent right now. 75 sherman just need a buff.
The base variant is already outdated in front of panthers Jadgpanzer 4 and the non-doc KTs, and from game-play perspective T-34/85 and M4A3 (76) isn't a greater threat compare to the firefly/churchill or Comets , and BTW, the M4A3 (76) is a M4A3 with a 76mm gun mounted turret, not the wide track E8 version, it's been locked in BOB campaign
T-34/85 and M4A3 (76) are two of the most produced tanks in WW2, 4 times more produced than the panther/ PZ4, yet relic decides to lock it behind some doctrines(and M4A3 (76) is not even in multiplayer) , I wish to see these beautiful generalist tank came into action without the limitation of commanders for years, and yet OKW pz4 became non-doctrinal just for weeks before ppl starts demanding it.
Please let political correctness aside and Axis armor superiority aside , make T-34/85 non-doctrinal and M4A3 (76) in BOB campaign non-doctrinal!
PS: M4A3 (76) is the tank appear in ardennes assault campaign which is different from E8' as E8 have a noticeable wider track and different suspension compare to other shermans.
Great patch, one of the most produced tank AKA T-34/85 still locked behind in commadners, and automatic weapon such like PPSH and DP-28 are still doctrinal, meanwhile some keyborads warriors tears bring the OKW pz4 into non-doctrinal, so much for the eastern front themed game, so much for the political correctness
Vanilla faction needs fix the most, give soviet more stock units instead of rely heavily on commanders, this is the old P2W DLC plan of Relic's which definitely sucks, re-balance many of those vannila commanders

ostheer and soviet needs their veterancy redesign to the WFA standards, yet the tier4 is overpriced a bit but even more so with the soviet, vanilla faction won't give relic any profit I guess..... you might just have to go to play OKW, it's German, and a way better fun and more toys

They could re-do so many iconic soviet things in creative ways, like... idk, a sniper team (=iconic for soviets) that works like a weapon team, so with facing and setup. Also, many vehilces are left, the russians were in the war a long time, there's abunch of stuff!!
But they're probablly working on that other game with space nazis... what's it called again, oh yeah: "dawn of space marines-yet-again and no fouking imperial guard!!".
, the only fun soviet army in COH history was the eastern front mod............
and yeah, no imperial guard in the next release of space nazi, this time, the next IG we need to wait at least 3 years more.....
