TBh, Ciez was the biggest detractor to beta. Never seen a guy with so much brown-nosing, "yes-saying" and such a passive -aggressive and disrespectful attitude towards other contributors.
A real snake in the grass.
Tbh, have you ever been part of the private balance beta? I really don't remember your name, and neither does Milka so I'm pretty sure you completely fabricated that statement.
A real snake in the grass.
If you had been part of the beta in any meaningful way you'd realize that I was one of the most critical people that played the beta, and I was extremely critical for a long time, seeing as I was playing wfa since April.
Pls stop the obvious, pathetic trolling now. Thx. |
You could check out the videos on my channel, most specifically this one:
Improving Your CoH 2 Gameplay - CieZ Style: http://youtu.be/AE-BzsNtkAs
I'm out of town right now but could try to answer specific questions and/or analyze replays of yours in the near future. |
Well, at least he is more familiar in the historical prospects(organization, formation, doctrine, weapon system compositions,...) than you are as far as I have seen you in your streaming. Balance itself is a reflect of the doctrine adopted by military organization for simulation. You should back up your statement by facts(i.e. statistical facts of weapon systems performances). The scale in coh2 of weapon system is not up to corresponding realistic operational scale anyway. It is a game not reflecting the reality but the dream.
In coh2 balance will always trump realism. I may not have a great understanding of units in the historical perspective but I do have a great understanding of the underlying game mechanics and of top level play, which is what matters. So I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make... |
In team games you will always have one player rushing stuka which usually comes out around the 8min mark, good luck trying to protect your maxims/ZiS/snipers then. Sturms also get minesweepers like an other factions so I don't see how mines are a "nightmare" to defuse
A single stuka won't be enough to hold off a proper double Soviet push. As for mines, other factions have engineers for significantly cheaper than sturms, and they aren't as vital to winning engagements as sturms are. So it is easier to field more than one sweeper squad and it is easier to have them scouting for mines instead of fighting. Furthermore, okw has to spend effectively more than ost does to grenade kill a demo, and has to be closer to the demo to do it. Puma can attack ground the demo but this can sometimes take a while.
So yeah, of all the factions okw has the most difficultly vs mines and demos. |
If OKW are even a bit coordinated they are much stronger then a coordinated Allied team. Have you ever tried to uproot multiple overlapping medic and flak trucks. It's fucking impossible no matter what units you build.
Axis still have no counter to sniper, maxim, zis with guards and shocks running around. Zis guns kill trucks super easily. Not to mention demo charges and mines, which are a nightmare to defuse as okw. |
Based on the player card it looks like he's new to the game. Guess I'll have to sort it out when I get been into town. Maybe I'll get to watch the game too, if there's no patch. |
Allies, if highly coordinated, are significantly stronger in team games. Unfortunately this level of coordination is (I assume, I don't play with random teams) very hard to find in random automatch.
Ost is probably strongest in 1v1, at the highest levels, while okw is the weakest.
Axis is easier to be average at, but harder to play perfectly. My two cents. |
Dunno who sharpshooter is... unless it is a current member using a weird name... I guess it is flattering that people would smurf the clan tag, but also a bit annoying if that's what this guy is doing. |
And it shows, given that it loses straight up to PIVs.
If you're losing Jacksons to p4s you should probably stop posting about balance because it means you're, frankly, terrible. There is no universe or scenario in which the Jackson does not completely hard counter a p4. Hell, it even shuts down Panthers. Even with the worst micro imaginable the Jackson at least takes the p4 to the grave with it. But that should never happen.
Anyways please actually play the game before you post such completely ignorant statements. |
Dane is a decent player, a great caster but is one of the most blatantly biased players. At some points in alpha testing OKW was ungodly overpowered and he still wanted to buff them. He also thought that the 100 range elefant needed a buff, literally called it useless.
Anyways, as I was saying, I respect dane as a person, player, and caster but his balance opinions are far from objective, nor should most of them be taken seriously. |
