Not really. The KV-8 needs 4CP, the timing of which suprisingly falls together with the first PzIV. That's assuming the Soviet didn't tech and is still on tent. Since there is absolutely no reason not to spam PzIV as Ostheer, the best the KV-8 can attempt to do is a baserape. In: COH2 Balance

Yes I was talking about an unupgraded grenadier squad. Happened in the first 3 minutes of the game. All squads where in yellow cover. My reaction: In: COH2 Balance

There are no unvetted ACs on the field by the time T-70 hits. And no-one just amoves their AC into a T-70. Shrecked Pgrens, Pfausts (who can btw one-shot T-70 if lucky) all exist and make the T-70 "rampage" a very short experience. As I said, the T-70 is a gimmick unit that relies on exploiting an opening in your enemies defense. A good german won't have that, so T-70 is useless. The same is true for M3s. In: COH2 Balance

Conscripts won't ever reach an AC and Guards won't kill them either, especially not if vetted. Another upside is that AC counters the T-70 the soviet will be desperately trying to press against your T2 spam. In: COH2 Balance

Except by now most Ostheer players have figured out the two valid plays the Soviets bring each and every game and have no trouble stopping them dead in their tracks. In: COH2 Balance

I lost 3 squads worth of Grenadiers in about 3 seconds because they were bugged out trying to Faust and were getting run over. I already mentioned gimmicky killstreaks. Before asking for reduced suppression... be careful what you wish for. Most people just wish for flanking to be more rewarding and conscripts dealing more than zero damage. In: COH2 Balance

The chance of landing a crit strike should increase as the engagement continues. Continuing with my example, a soviet mortar begins firing at at a stationary target. The chance of landing a crit hit should not be the same for the first two shots and should be fairly increased by the third shot. I would agree with that system, at least it's better than what we have now. Anything is better than what we have now. In: COH2 Gameplay
