Ya T1 would have helped and fausts do make a great difference. I don't know what inspired that start from me. I just saw his loading screen and thought...eh, why not give it a go.
Actually you can make an argument that the arty officer helped save the game in the waning stages because I used the arty barrage and then the ability right after to keep the middle clear for an extended period of time |

Well, obviously, I'm Dave. I'm 29, and I've played COH both 1 and 2 since day 1 of COH's original release in 2006 where I had 2 replays in the gamereplays.org (predecessor to coh2.org) Hall of Fame. You've probably seen me and my harsher critiques about the game rambling around on the forums, but in reality I'm a nice guy. I promise. In my offline life I was formerly a teacher/coach and now I'm at a university.
OK, So how this works and on to things more pertinent.
(Full Disclaimer - I stole this from Golradaer)
1. I'll first watch several replays from each of you. Please post 3-5 replays in which you lost or barely won. I want to get a feel for how you play in a variety of situations. I also want a replay where you feel like you played really well and dominated your opponent but don't make these any more than 1 or 2.
2. You write up a short analysis of your play overall, strengths and weaknesses.
3. I will expand on what you've written based on your games. Also, I'll point out a few things I'd like you to specifically focus on.
4. You continue to post replays in which you struggled or about which you have tactical/strategic queries along with a self-analysis of your play and I'll comment on them.
Be sure to get the voice program Mumble as we'll use that for chat sessions. Also, if you have the computer/connection capable to stream, sign up for a twitch.tv account. Ya, I can never tell if someone is going t3 of t4. I knew from his bulletins that he was going to Maxim spam and I figured I had the choice of sniper/mortar and grind or try the SCs and use them to fend off a T70 if I had to so I went for it. I've been burned by the superior artillery of Soviet T4/120mm mortar on that map before. I knew that the 2 SCs would counter a T70 but that map with all it's trees and the generally awful pathing of this game makes vehicles somewhat difficult as well. |

Your's was good and, overall, you played better vs maxim spam than I. My strat was different but really broke down there, and I had to go about things differently. I'll "honor" it
Also, I didn't use strafe which...hell...if a guy makes 5 maxims and just skates (no really, check the animation) around the map with them then he deserves to be strafed. |

GG with some real nail-biter moments in it. Fun played really well.
For some reason, I get horrible screen lag with this map, especially with incendiary fire...I don't think it's in this game, but is this a problem for anyone else? |
