And I think thats a premium as well (idr) I think his point however is that ANYTHING the Soviet can do the okw can do more efficiently except spam machine guns.( also if it comes down to being able to Sprint and being able to kill....anything I think we all know the better choice) I was responding to his comment about volks having all the soviet abilities in one unit. I was list some thing the soviets have that the OKW don't. If you want to include all the OKW units go ahead. Also, you said that anything the soviets can do the OKW can do more efficiently. This simply isn't true. There are many units and abilities OKW doesn't have. Demos for example. Also, efficiency is the cost effectiveness of something. Just because the OKW has better units does not mean the are more efficient. Nearly all the OKW units are more expensive than there counter parts. And please don't think I'm an OKW fanboi. They are tied for my least favorite faction with USFs. Both factions are all about blobbing main infantry. (Both have AI and AT hmmm) In: COH2 Balance

If we are assuming the enemy has pios supporting the HMG then we can also assume REs supporting the rifles so you can use them to scout. Difference is, if the mg42 guesses wrong (or is flanked) it can often result in a wiped (or even stolen) mg. On the other hand, the riflemen can simply retreat and no harm done except a failed attack. Setting up mgs requires similar "intuition" to flanking mgs. If you want to see the enemy before he sees you, use m20 or pathfinders. This encourages combined arms just like having pios spot for mg42s. In: COH2 Balance

Volksgrenadiers can crawl their way to throw a incendiary nade before being pinned as well. If the OKW player has the suppression reduction bulletins... it is even more hilarious. Vickers 1v1s mgs at all ranges assuming same cover and both set up at the same time. While volks are crawling to your mg you pack up, move back then set up again. I think Vickers is easiest mg to get to vet 3 honestly. In: COH2 Balance

Vcoh had better... -voices -more diverse units -better balance -much more diversity in teching and builds (especially PE) -cooler maps (original reball express, montargis region, hochwald gap, vimotiers, etc. ) I felt like there was big differences between factions but it was still balanced.
