Thread: Elite Mod COH - Download and Changelog1 Dec 2013, 05:46 AM Why has the Croc been 110 fuel all this time, btw? Whats the reaosning behind it? Sure, it costs less manpower than a sherman, but when talking vehicles its fuel that's crucial. I'm not saying nerfing the cost is the better, but it is a viable alternative if the HP/Dozer or Flamethrower Buff aren't enough. In: COH Central

If you remove some of the wild chances in CoH, we might as well go play StarCraft with territory sectors. It's part of the charm. The undecisive maneuvers are NOT the RNG's fault, but rather the entire building, small arms fire mechanic. The fact that buildings give you star trek shields, and that soldiers are firing BB guns, makes flanking much less satisfying. The RNG has onthing to do about it. In fact, the ONLY thing helping those flanks is hoping for the criticals to trigger. Remove them, and you have starcraft. In: COH2 Gameplay

Won't argue with that, its a good point. However, we don't know how much planning is going on before DLC's. For all we know, they are overthinking it. So in that reagard yes, it would be fun to have more interaction with the creative leads. The more complicated people make this the less likely Relic will look into it. This thread is simply to gauge peoples interest in a new system along the lines of the one I laid out in post #1, which seems very very high. Thanks friends. Occam's Razor all the way. I tried the Kolaris AI tweaks in skirmish (I had no one to tets them with), and I had a question: -If I order my rifles to Attack Focus an enemy outside their range, they will properly move into range, seek cover if available and engage, but... It has nothing to do with artillery changes, it has nothing to do with DoW2, it has nothing to do with that. As an analogy, Battlefield 4 has VERY bad optimization, too, but the Frostbite engine is popularly loved. We have no right to criticize Essence 3.0, unless you have personally developed on it. I doubt anyone on here knows the full list of changes that the 3.0 version brought from 2.0, and I doubt even more that most people reading this know how those changes work. It has been repeated time and time again that certain features in the game cannot realistically be changed at this point. Others can... In: COH2 Gameplay
