but even the UC being better still wouldnt make the AEC good, its good on paper but vs what your facing as brits at the time its never gonna be useful
the AEC is what the brits should be using against an early light vehicle or tank.
The british doesn't have any tank snare and their PIAT have difficulty hitting moving vehicles, so logically the AEC is there to cover up the particular weakness. |

the cover bonus is not that big unless you're using the bren, but even then the bren is inferior to the lmg42 despite them costing the same. Yes, double bren gun will win, and it's also extremely expensive. |
UC is trash past T1 and even then it isnt very good, they should give the AEC an 70 muni vickers on top or something AI related, make brits pay for it but make it atleast viable.
UC being crappy is its own issue. The fact that the UC become obsolete the moment the british can actually repair it is a problem. |

the reason why the tiger was limited to one and the e8 and t34 85 was move into the building was because they made teching obsolete. The changes was to limit doctrinal tank.
This is why the king tiger and the panther are not limited, because they are part of the tech tree.
Unfortunately, the meta just shift to using the stug e and kv-8 instead. In a 1v1, stalling for doctrinal tank seems to be much better strategy than actually teching. We need a more comprehensive solution for all the call in tanks. |

Needs a buff against infantry and for its Vet 1 ability to work properly, and it will be viable.
Right now it's a waste of money.
the last thing the ost need is another anti-infantry vehicle to deal with. It's just going to replace the centaur rush with a AEC rush. Furthermore, the British already have the universal carrier for dealing with infantry.
Just give the AC 10 extra range so it can deal with tanks. Yes, it's going to be a Puma clone, but that's less disruptive to balance.

Ye the price is fair,while the 800HP Brumbar cost 480MP/160fuel.No one wants to use brumbar and everyone spams 150 fuel churchill since both of them are in the fair price.Quite fair.
The KV1 has a bad main gun too but can't throw a grenade ,has 800 HP,cost 145 fuel.While the Churchill cost 150 fuel,has 1600HP,quite fair.Enough.

No they really dont. AEC dying to p4's is really a l2p issue. you still have the AT guns and brit tech is cheaper.

the british can get their tank faster than the wehr if the british skip their infantry upgrade and the AEC/bofor.
AEC is not meant to kill PIV, especially by itself, meaning you are actually supposed to set mines and buy an at gun and tech as fast into a cromwell or whatever to keep up in the tank race.
I have tried AEC many many times, but i find it a detriment to Brit teching. Its just diversity, nothing more.
mines are a high risk high weapon in the early game. It's not really a reliable strategy. |
