The elite G43 does a little less DPS than the Pgren STG at closer ranges, but loses FAR less damage while on the move, while also having significantly improved performance at longer ranges. All things considered, I'd genuinely call the Elite G43 a strict upgrade in most cases. Pgrens are moving an awful lot, after all.
I'd say after using them a lot, especially on Jaeger Infantry that has sprint by default, it is not as clear as it seems. So if it is an upgrade, I would not call it a huge one and long range DPS is not that substantial. Also I tried those rifles on Stormtroopers and it just did not work for me for some reason. |
but G43's are better than stg's
It highly depends on G43s and STGs. I would not call Pgren STG worse then elite G43, they are just different. Probably same could be said about basic G43s and Volk STGs. But if you compare elite G43 with basic STG, then you are probably right. |
I've always seen M10 as a 'squisher' meme. It is pretty pathetic as a mobile AT so, as it was mentioned earlier, it is much better to invest in a Sherman then in M10.
edit: one thing that may help M10 imo is target size. 22 is quite a bit for a 50 range td, considering that most mediums, even the premium ones, are in 20-21 range. The closest unit to it is Stug G which has target size of 17. So no idea why M10 should be 22. |
Tiger 1 can put reliable hurt into enemy infantry, because of its supreme scatter (p4 has a tendency to overshoot quite a bit). Has good ROF, more range, 60% more health and good frontal armor etc. Although it eats a lot of popcap tho and can be countered pretty easily. If you have enough micro it is definitely not worth over mediums. Although it could be said about any super heavy in the game, apart from maybe KV2 and KT.

From my experience in playing this series since 2006 I can tell you one thing.
It doesn't matter how powerful a defensive unit or thing is, if it's static it's already dead.
Mobility is the name of the game, if you don't have that then it's easily going to get nuked by an offmap once found out, that or rushed which will end with the same result.
To some extend you are right, but only if you pick doctrine with such abilities. In 4v4 and 3v3, they are common, but in 2v2 not so much and in 1v1 I see very few reasons to pick such doctrines, well (not like bunkers will work there or anything)
For example since ISU nerf JTs and Elefants became rare in 2v2 matches, which made late games much more enjoyable for both sides. But I'm afraid with new buffs to defensive doctrines this passive simcity like playstyle may be popular again. Guessing that is why balance team wants to give that ridiculous 'timed fuse' ability to 120mm. |
I think more thought is needed before buffing doctrinal defensive abilities. Promoting camping and positional gameplay is undesirable, at least for me. Nothing against Pak43, I'm talking about new repair headquarters and repair bunker with ridiculous repair speeds. OST does not need more defensive buffs.
Small offtop, while mentioning headquarters: wishing for Urban defense to loose ability of buildings occupation. |
Why USF lost its identity? Self Decrew repair?
Forced to use RE?
That is clearly USFphobic Killing latch. Know we must not allow to remove reserve armor or disable decrewing.
Read the post, the guy said to remove the ability only on hypothetical 76mm with dozer upgrade. Also I highly doubt that balance team will implement it.
Mechanized is top picked doctrine in 1v1. So it makes sense to nerf it, as it was with Osttruppen and will be with KV-1.
That is exactly what I was going for. Compared to the E8 it would have better AT but little to no AI which would allow handheld AT and AT guns to counter it. The lack of repair crews helps limit the overall blob potential. The goal is to keep tank diversity and giving USF player multiple options.
AFAIK 76mm has better AI then E8 simply because of its innate Rate of Fire. |
Srsly? Just with Dozer. Lock the vehicle? That is silly Idea. Reserve armor MUST NOT GET AMY MERF NOW AND FOREVER.
that's not a nerf though. This actually looks like an improved E8 without self repair while having ridiculous ROF that e8 lacks. Not sure that this is a good idea. 76mm is already hefty strong |
That's awesome. However the data does not add up. I can see level with each player, but it's number 0-300, for example:
alias "solaris"
country "ua"
leaderboardregion_id 0
level 300
name "/steam/76561198074006051"
personal_statgroup_id 4686731
profile_id 3153275
xp 18785964
So if I understood you right there no information about the rank or ladder position in that piece of data. Perhaps someone from coh2.org knows how to do that? They have this tool for it https://www.coh2.org/ladders that contains almoust everything leaderboard does. |
Hey, pagep, great work!
Here is an article regarding player rank, in case you have questions regarding ladder placement and skill level:

Hope it helps!
