The 2cp change was enough imo, along with the 2fg42 upgrade (to reduce their shock value) and maaaaaybe the first strike bonus. Dps changes and 320 price were kinda overkill. They are not weak at all without their LMG 34 or IR STG 44. Especially not at their new potential timing. Yup, Stock obers are actually quite strong. Lmg behind tech is fine, but IRStgs take an entire doctrine slot. Also, right now IRStg obers come online much latter than fully upgraded falls. Of course falls need a bit of a nerf but thats something for another thread. In: COH2 Balance

If they want to nerf the damage instead, then 320 is okay. First I think they should adress VA and FMR. This could be used as a quick reaction unit. The call in design is just a way to add variety, it sure had some exploits because it articulates the tech system. Its just a way to keep things simple, to have no tech bound call-ins, otherwise all the affected units should have a considerable MP cost discount to make up their new added tech investment costs. Exactly, shock value is their main attribute. That's why right now some vehicles are fine for team games but trash for 1v1. So far Cp + tech is doing good for heavies in all game modes. And yeah it would need some adjustments (cost, tech requirements , CPs and if the unit is a callin or not) but making those timing based units good for 1v1s is worth it IMO In: COH2 Balance

Imo it is the other infantry that should be delayed not ober that should come earlier. Hezter and ostwind should not require the T4 building to exist. Their timing could be fixed with CP. Either all call in tanks should require both CP and tech or the double requirement should be limited to only to Super heavies. I get your point but right now balance wise I think elite infantry is in a good spot. Now we have more Shocks,Storms, Pgrens and new builds with mixed army compositions. Delaying would require changes to timings, scaling and unit cost just to match the balance we have right now. Too much work if you ask me. Also falls are arriving earlier now, and I'm sure we'll see adjustments to Paras, Commandos and Rangers if needed. That's the design choice the balance team made and it worked great so far. I agree the timing for Hetzer and Ostwind isn't the best. But I haven't tested those units yet so I'm not really sure. In: COH2 Balance
