The new OH counterattack tactics is overall better than the current OKW breakthrough tactics even tho they have the same muni cost and CP requirements. IMO both abilities should have the same effect. They're really good in the lategame, it's just that they're a weird design. They're basically just Volksgrenadiers that start out worse and end up better.. there's not really anything all that "unique" about them (Except the Shreck upgrade, but I'm assuming we're talking about their stats as a G43 squad. Their Shreck upgrade is clearly fantastic) Fair enough, IMO the 10 extra mp cost along with the mediocre base performance hinders the early game quite a bit. I agree The Shreck upgrade is really good tho In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Smartie's commander reworks: OKW10 Mar 2021, 17:02 PM +1 on making IRStg a 3cp callin for variety's sake. Their performance is good enough. Pfussiliers are really underwhelming, could use a bit of an early game boost Arty flares could be swapped for something else, maybe Sturm Offizier like Smartie said Valiant Assault for Grand Offensive sounds like overkill to me tbh. But it kinda fits with the doctrine. If it gets some nerfs first it could work. Luftwaffe is already on a good spot already IMO. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: General bugs & issues collection8 Nov 2019, 15:12 PM There was also some bugs with Ardennes Assault since USF got the revamp. 1. Pathfinders are always unavailable even if you have lt tech 2. Thread: Easy USF fix30 Sep 2019, 14:05 PM 3 rifles is still the way to go before tech tho. I would suggest to reduce the cost of both lt and cpt to 200mp 30fu and the reesearch time from 70 to 40 sec. Then add the extra time and fuel cost to the platoon and company post upgrade (from 20fu and 20 sec to 25 fu and 50-60 sec). In: COH2 Balance

Now instead of brens, Anvil gets Vickers -K and the cover mechanism that provides a bonus in cover and penalty out of cover. Bren can be redesign to be more like BAR and I guess one could allow 2 weapon slots. Non upgrade Enfield should be redesigning to be more like K98 and cost IS could go down 260. Bolster could be limited only to hammer. Tanks could see similar changes with valentine (redesigning as mini Churchill)/Cromwell and maybe Tulip/17p options in T4. The idea is to separate the upgrades thus creating more tools for balancing and more choices for the player play-style. Wow that is a good idea In: COH2 Balance
