Ele wasnt moving when firing first 2 rounds I'll check out the replay again and check, I thought it was moving. Su85 clashed against it, always penned ele. Ele never hit Su85 and thus dealt no damage. Ele dies, Su85 survived. Might have been bad luck idk, but ele feels meh I saw that game and the reason why the su won was because it was shooting the elefant for a good while from the flank from mid range, not the front where the frontal armour would have kicked in. By the time the ele was actually finally rotated it was mis-microed since the two shots it got off against the su were done while moving (50% accuracy penalty, rotation is movement). I think this game was a very poor illustration of how the ele performs. The match in general is not a good proxy as Kryptics didn't do much other than building pios and s-mine fields Some of the observations seem accurate non the less as in the case of for the motherland (maybe remove sprint from it?). A direct strike on Tiger will usally deal from 600-900 damage. While a Is-2 will take less than half damage from a stuka direct hit. There are a few very important differences though. 1) the il-2 drop is a plane drop, it moves in from off map 2) the plane can be shot down 3) it will take longer depending on how long the distance is for the plane 4) there is the warning smoke 5) it's almost impossible to have 2-3 bombs on a tiger unless you manage to ram it at the exactly right moment and have the ram stun or manage to immobilise the vehicle in some other way The stuka dive bomb was overperforming for its former price because it reliably always takes the same (rather low) time to land and there is no smoke warning, so it can be missed. The crit was quite crazy, due to the radius. Support weapons, like mgs and at guns had almost no chance to get out in time, even if you were fast to react. In: Lobby

That is mainly because in vet 1 they get a big accuracy bonus of 120% which unlike Ro.E. applies to all weapon not only their own weapons. That means that these weapon are more in the hands of RE then in the hand of riflemen (at least until both unit reach vet 3). I think you mean the right thing, but the bonus accuracy is 20% or the factor by which accuracy is increased 1.2 for an overall accuracy of 120% if vet 0 vet is seen as 100%. Your formulation might confuse people to think that the bonus is 120%. Completely agree with everything else In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: December Balance Preview v1.1 "T-pose" bug4 Nov 2017, 16:39 PM I had it today in a 4v4 that we played with Sturmpanther happen with 2 con entities back at base. I've never seen it for cons in the live version. The other thing I noticed is that the new squad ai seems to quite severely negatively interfere with movement orders. Towards the end of the match cons ran into an ostwind. I wanted to get them out of the way and behind a sight blocker by using oorah. But the units were stuck for 3 or more seconds while I was spamming the move order for them to move away before they actually finally got up and moved. I guess this is due to the projectiles of the ostwind which are like mini explosions which trigger the dodging and going prone behaviour. The problem is it causes it for the entire squad which then seems to become immobile almost. I'll see if I can replicate the issue. I can attach the replay if that would help (it's not a good match since we forgot to balance the teams) In: COH2 Bugs

It has the same effect as delaying retreated units to return to the field, effecting you more if you loose a lot of models, but it still does give you an advantage of performing semi-hard retreats. +1. Do they inflict more damage/snipe models now? What the numbers are saying is, that in a perfect vacuum, where we ignore that units actually have to close in to get to a certain distance and we only consider vet0 cons and grens: - cons will beat grens at range 0 to somewhere past 27 (again, completely ignoring that they'd have to close in without taking any damage). This is currently also the case. What mainly changed is that cons will trade very well at range 10 because their weapons do not drop off until that distance compared to the gren Kar. - cons will now beat lmg grens up until range 10 (they lose at 20 again). This is not the case pre patch where cons would lose at basically any distance except something around 0 (again ignoring that they'd have to actually get there first without taking losses). The changes basically give cons a range at which they can compete. We'll have to wait and see how that plays out overall.
