Guys, on the tactical level, the German army was still conducting encirclements. Remember we are talking, well, company sized units here, and Germans weren't exactly losing tactically until the very last stages of the war.
German tactical brilliance is what kept them in the war so long in the first place.
I concede that while there were German encirclements like Bastogne (though I don't think they were any more tactically brilliant on average than their allied counterparts ), I still feel it would have fit better with an allied faction thematically.
