if you want to nerf the bazooka against tank, lower its deflection damage. This way the bazooka can't brute force the thick frontal armor of a tiger.

so you are not a pro player, you have been away from COH2 from over a year, you don´t have problems dealing with zooks in other maps, but all people answering in this thread are wrong and zooks deserve a nerf....

my mate was away for one year, I was still playing. I don't say that the people here are wrong. I just want to exchange some arguments. Katiofs bullshitposting isn't that IMO. And it wasn't that instance only, I too had some games where I felt, that zooks were too good against a KT. Do you have any experience regarding amassed zooks against heavy tanks?

Have you ever tried kiting with Ostwind, sniper or straight up combined arms MG?

of course, unfortunately they are all very ineffective on an urban map. and personally i find the ostwind a little lackluster, its certainly not bad, but imo its AI is not good enough to have 0 AT(especially in 2v2 AT,there are always enemy tanks).

USF doesn't have a lot of tools to fight heavies. Jacksons, swarming Wolverines, swarming Easy 8's. Typically it isn't even worth trying to take on a KT if you don't have some hand-held AT around to give you a bit of a better chance. All of this requires combined arms and micro while the heavy simply has to have reasonable support and A-moved forward.

"reasonable support" requires good micro aswell, otherwise the jackson will be able to deal with the kt

You can't tell me a Bazooka blob is effective against a KT when half the shots won't penetrate and one blast from a KT will decimate any USF player bad enough to A-move a blob towards it.

Nerfing Bazookas specifically so they suck more against the hardest targets to kill in the game is completely counter-intuitive and will only put USF further behind the Axis factions in the late game.

imo that is how it is supposed to be! the USF are supposed to need a TD like the m36 in the lategame to deal with enemy tanks. USF have damn good early and mid game and extremely good AI...

again, my pioneers cant see through houses. guess my VAC bans pioneers with wallhacks....

4 rifles, one captain, one re. (so rather 5-6 squads, my wording was false, i admit) thats 8 zooks and 4 bars if fully equipped.

Yeah, so I've checked your pc after writing this post, its pretty much what I've written, L2P issue for 4 digit rank player.

last time i checked, 925 had only three digits. but well, probably a lot has changed since i heard my last mathmatics lecture at university three days ago. on a sidenote, my mate and i didnt play for over a year and are getting back at it again now. the +7 streak is a sign of the direction we are taking. lets see what our rank will be after the "getting back" phase

If you have 4 digit rank and struggle to get over 50% WL ratio, the balance is NOT your problem, YOU are.

not necessarily. im by no means a proplayer in LoL, but more often than not i can see balance issues. being a pro helps, but self reflection is very important aswell

The main reason bazookas, piats, even PTRS deal so much damage vs heavies is not due to penetration; it's due to deflection damage.

When a handheld AT thing fails to penetrate, it still deals 25% of its damage (for PIATs that's 66%). Thus, decreasing penetration won't really help.

But, then again, we haven't accounted for the reload ratio. But then, nobody ever sticks around for a 2nd or a 3rd shot.

i dont want to make this a zooks vs schrecks discussion, but dont forget that the cheapest option to get a schreck is for 90 munitions, while you get 2 free zooks on your captaion and your m20 crew and additional ones only cost 50 iirc

maybe changing deflection damage might be another viable way.

and i disagree, the rifle blob fighting your tiger will stay for a second and third shot. and the 30% faster reload for zooks (if i got the formula right) comes in very handy there

for me thats insanity. Unfortunately this is the direction game is going. No flanks no mobility no micro no unit control. Sit at the position and indirects of all kind decide the winner. This game lacks flank attacks and skill in general.

lol. have you played coh1? mines did suppress there. and yes, the game had a ton of flanks. i think suppression is a beautiful method to increase the number of flanks, because before blobbing was very effective and with this change one mg and a well placed mine can stop a blob, especially considering the fact that grenades now have a decreased range under supression.
anyway, if your enemy has a position secured with a ton of mines and has invested heavily there, you maybe should minesweep before attacking

nah, that is too hard. they would take ages to get to normal speed again.

i havent tested the new mines yet, but i believe they favor people who have some kind of healing, which i dont like. it think the "does not kill" change is a sorry excuse for bad squad spacing, because that was really broken. mines killing people never was the problem...

btw: can a german sniper now trigger a mine without dying? OP OP if so
