Thread: Vehicles crushing infantry: Skill or abuse?3 May 2020, 16:11 PM Unpopular opinion here. I think its ok to have some crush mechanic. I just really dont like the way it is implemented now. Some tanks crush, somehow (magically) some others dont (Because balace OFC) But then it is so skill dependent and its such a niche feature, that only very weird situation can make use of it. Also to have a squad in "freaked out" mode just to watch them be crushed by a tank going forwards and backwards like it was trying to park makes it very micro intensive just for a meme wipe. I would like crushing be implemented to be logical In: COH2 Gameplay

In games like that, you can do anything you want and it doesn't prove anything. One of my teammates, who plays UKF, will build 5 snipers and go big game (Puma) hunting in those games. It doesn't prove anything beyond the fact that there were too few people searching to make a good match. When you cant blame it on the L2P of the OP, you blame it on the L2P of the red units... Wouldnt that prove OP's point? A cheesy, non constructive mechanic that abuses the skill difference of players, resulting in bad experience for both ends and causing an endless discussion in this forums? Isnt that the point OP wants to clarify and therefore fix, with a simple suggestion? In: COH2 Gameplay

The counterplay is kill the t34 before it gets there, or at least scare it away/spot it from a distance NO IT'S NOT Stop this garbage, it's been debunked in every single thread when it's brought up. For the love of god stop repeating this, there is 0 counter to a T34 rushing you right away in an open field while you're immobile and it's hard to dodge it unless you're moving. You have 0 chance if you're moving towards it. Ram is not counterable if it's done properly. Oh god, pls dont repeat that thead again. Please. If it were about counters, all howitzers should have brace, and thats not the case. I just accidentaly rimmed lol. Lets not lose the focus about if IL2 PS should be counterable or not. I agree that some skills are uncounterable, because its intended. IMO IL2 should be counterable since it can instagib superheavy tanks. At lest add some RNG to the formula. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Raketens should lose their received accuracy bonus2 May 2020, 21:43 PM I have to say to those "unbiased" players that think the raketen can go retard ahead and gib medium tanks, because it simply "retreats" That time the raketen is retreating+healing+recrewing you have no AT. That ime can be used to push with any vehicle. With that perspective every single infantry squad that can retreat is too hard to kill. In: COH2 Balance

Stormjäger LMG Grens that come in the 250 are broken, they are the pre-buff Grenadiers that have a vet 3 received accuracy bonus instead of a damage reduction bonus. Aww craep i really didnt know. (I was using them recently, shame on me T_T) That also explains the suddend wipe out of nowhere i had on those poor little grens. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Unit orders2 May 2020, 19:05 PM I know that you cant issue orders to vehicles and expect the game to pathfind as you imagine. I remember issuing a reverse command just to see the tank turning 180 degrees (leaving its beautiful back to a couple of T34 happy to see it) and then go forwards in a curve just to go backwards after reaching half of the distance between points. Both LMG grens are LeFH are interesting aspects to combine with spot scopes IMO. I wouldnt change those. They dont sinergyse as Mortar HT or buildable 250 but thats the point of it, having different units for very different situations. "Usable" is a rather misleading term. I would expect we are talking about 1v1s since the most skilled players care more about that game mode. I would change for OST in the Festung support commander the reserve battallion (the ostruppen refund ability) for either paradropped supplies (Amu+Fu+MG34+Pak40) or the super bunker from defensive community commander For SU i would like to see more radio intercept commanders, maybe for de NKVD one. For UKF i would remove the defensive formations (? (IS builds emplacements) for assault IS. And for OKW i would remove the LeFH from the defensive commander, maybe for the new commander defensive bonus for infantry. I would also swap the Stumtiger from Armor elite with the command panther from spec Ops As for USF i would change M36 for M10, always. J/k In: COH2 Balance
