Nice work! I always hated the icons will entire shells, casing and all, flying toward the target.
For constructive feedback:
I would keep the circle on AT Overwatch, since it indicates the ability is an overwatch. I also think that the existing anti-building incendiary barrage icon is more interesting from an artistic perspective, and communicates the anti-building focus better, but yours is definitely more consistent.
Also, I wanted to mention to you that I'm working on a text overhaul of the game, and I would really appreciate your feedback once I get some more of it finished. |
To my knowledge, only 2 1 abilitiesy in the game provide Exclusive modifiers: Combined Arms and Ambush Camouflage.
This means that this ability loses much of its effectiveness as the units using them gain veterancy. It is inconsistent, not explained, and prevents the ability from performing correctly. This implies to me that it is a bug.
If that is the intended behavior, please reconsider this, as veterancy gains should not be punished like this. |
The broken Grenadier first strike bonus needs to be fixed. The accuracy modifier is set to Exclusive, so it overrides the 40% accuracy bonus from vet 2.
I know that isn't strictly about the patch, but other units are getting First Strike bonuses, and this is a good opportunity to change it. |
I agree with Vipper; the unit's design is a bigger issue than its performance. |
Interesting. My guess is that it's a critical that only some weapons have and that has very strict conditions.
If that's the case, it would be possible, but a lot of work, to add it back to explosives. |
Not sure, as the build animation ends with the models crewing the gun. But we will look into ways of making it obvious that the Panzer Authorization (and the flak gun activation) hasn't been upgraded yet.

In light of the Rear Echelon change, I think the Combat Engineers deserve the same treatment.
Their Mosins deal 16 damage with low accuracy. The damage should be lowered to 12, like Conscripts, and accuracy raised to something more reasonable. Their weapon isn't as insanely inaccurate as RE carbines, but it would be nice for consistency at least. |
I think it would be faster to just look in the attribute editor; I'll do that once I get home from work and then report back.
The P4J does have a different entity than the normal P4, so the chances aren't good. |
I'd like to point out that its rounds for free fire and barrages are different.
The barrage one had its close AoE value reduced a few years ago, but the free fire version wasn't touched. That discrepancy should be fixed. |
