Then adding in more generic crap like USF mortar to make every faction the same, hell even little stuff like changing the Ost PIV model to the same as the OKW one. I was hoping on release we would have got a emplacement redesign possibly with some resource penalties to balance after people kicked up a fuss but instead Relic just took a lazy hammer and nerfed everything. Now brits have half their roster just not being used (Mortar pit, bofors, air landing officer, comet etc). With the Bren nerf for example this was a great chance to make the Vickers K and brens perform different roles rather than the clones they have been on release. Maybe vickers less accurate but better mid to short range? Relics response? Nope just keep them the same boring clones but nerf them together. In: COH2 Balance

The amount of times I've seen players lose a vet5 volk squad then simply replace it with another vet-0 volk when they have their flak truck is infuriating, then they wonder why their infantry are getting eaten up by paras and guards. Falls and panzerfuss can somewhat substitute them, but they are still not as powerful. Obers have that crazy RA that makes them bulletproof compared to falls In: OKW Strategies
Thread: the state of panzer430 Apr 2018, 21:51 PM I would like to see a larger gulf of difference between the Ost and OKW panzer 4. In CoH1 we had the snub nose PE panzer 4 and the wehr Panzer4 and it was some welcome flavour. How about making the OKW P4 slightly slower but giving it HEAT rounds to make it more if a hard hitter with some welcome extra pen. I mean late war panzers were slower as they plastered even more armour over the damn things so it makes sense. Meanwhile the Ost PIV could stay where it is now, the more mobile and cost effective brother to it's late war OKW twin. In: COH2 Balance

Relic want them for "clearing garrisons" when 24mins into a game when they are unlocked the map is already a moonscape with no buildings in sight. Make it a snare and people will pick hammer/anvil tech again rather than spamming cromwells or fireflies. In: COH2 Balance

Because you can not possibly believe FF would not be buffed from 8sec to 6sec reload if it lost default tulips. I'm not saying make it a clone, but possibly 7sec is the sweetspot. It would still be stronger than it is now and not borderline OP as it was with the old vet 3 damage bonus. Tulips shouldn't be a crutch they should be a tool, just like puma has target weakspot for example. In: COH2 Balance

Having it crutch on tulips is bad game design anyway, they should be an extra tool to help deal with JT, KT or Ele rather than an ability you have to spam every game to survive against panthers or stugs. Thread: Heavy Gammon bombs (hammer/anvil redesign)30 Apr 2018, 11:58 AM these things cost 75 muni but they pretty much suck, they can't even one shot an MG bunker like penal satchels do iirc and even the Jagdtiger can dodge them by driving 5cm backwards. They need to be made useful rather than a lulz ability that only kills anything if your opponent is asleep. Now my proposed FIX: It would be pretty interesting if the brits had to pick between tulip rockets in hammer or buffed gammon bombs (that have slightly shorter range than a faust but more damage and 3 second stun) in anvil if you ask me. Both snare type abilities but different uses in offence and defence, to balance out the weaker firefly tracking could be swapped out with tulips and made a 40muni upgrade. In: COH2 Balance

It's far from being the british' best anti-tank weapon. The panther only have 50 range. Panther (((only))) has 50 range you say, well what use is the Jackson when it will be within 5 range of that with paper thin armour and zero AI? Panther, comet and jackson should all be elite armour options with a unique flavor. Panther blends armour, AI and speed. Comet blends less armour and range with better AI. And Jackson should be on the other end of the scale with 10 more range than panther but same health. With the return of shrek spam next patch you can say goodbye to US AT now the new panther is neatly sheilded by cheap shrek blobs. Jackson will struggle to get into range and explode like tommy cookers, your idea of a "skirmisher" tank does not fit the US faction at all. They need a solid AT vehicle that has the HP and range to deal with panthers or tigers, not a sissy "skirmisher" that provides another kill notch to shrek PGrens as it blows up in a single volly. This isn't going to work. How is asking for a TD that can deal deal with axis armour and not get blown up by shreks instantly like has been the case before the health buff "greedy"? May I remind you the OKW Panther and Comet already exist, Jackson is in this tier but solely a tank destroyer. It just does the job better, but the trade off is zero AI. (unlike panther with its better mobility, armour and ton of mg's). Again any adjustment should have been a small price increase. In: COH2 Balance
