Enough with this sissy boy "skirmisher tank" talk, the Jackson is an all American brawler baby with 90mm of kraut pushing power. The Jackson is finally in a good position yet Relic are nerfing it. If you want to mess around with this sissy "skirmisher" concept we have the m10 over here that you can turn into a copy of the Puma since you seem so obsessed with. Sure give it smoke and call it a day. If anything the Jackson needs a slight MP or fuel increase, possibly to slightly cheaper than a panther. It's role now is vital in giving the USF a vehicle that doesn't get utterly destroyed by medium armour spam or big cat heavies (JT or Ele). In: COH2 Balance

Essentially, it remains "OP" because it evades meta. The balance team has a way of tunnel visioning onto the current meta and only that. We now have the old kubel turned into a generic light vehicle without the suppression cone, American mortar, 222 becoming a premium vehicle like the T-70, Volks getting a generic AI upgrade losing their AT role, one man soviet snipers. Single BAR rifles and brit mortar squad mirroring the wehr one coming the patch after next you heard it here first. In: COH2 Balance

The moment this thing rolls out you can say goodbye to your squads. Pretty much every 1vs1 match is just a race for the USF player to get his wipe machine to turn into a turbo wipe mahine at vet 3. Once he is sitting it on the middle VP (just like players used to do with the old KT) anything attempted to cap is just dead. AT guns will be one shotted, so will panzergrens. The Comet, ISU-152 and KT were all nerfed so why does this thing remain terminator mode? For some reason the Universal carrier was tinkered with next patch but OP cheese that ruins every game remains. In: COH2 Balance

Now commandos are even weaker, even if you want to upgrade them with the nerfed brens you'll be paying more fuel for the privilege. Thread: Jackson nerf22 Apr 2018, 15:19 PM I actually made an account to discuss this, with the patch british and american armour will be in a pretty pathetic position. The reason we see centuar and Jackson every game because the allies have nothing else. Comet, Cromewell, m10 were all nerfed without any real price decrease. so they suck, the USF for the longest time just had to rely on OP Cali or pershing every game because of useless old jackson. Meanwhile PIV and panther have seen small power creep with AI buffs and cost decreases. Brits are fucked unless you feed them a stream of muni for tulips, because the FF just gets overrun the minute the enemy has two stugs and dies. Only lategame chance USF will have next patch is cheesing OP Pershing and E8 commander every game. So the balance team has basically limited strategies even more. God damn relic In: COH2 Balance
