So you want the Isu 152 aoe nerfed to nothing? Seems fair.
Also I'll try to be as polite as possible in saying that the logic you are using to argue balance is stupid.
He's arguing that making the factions/armies identical is bad. |
I don't have a complaint about fals specifically, but rather the inability to evade a bundle grenade in any meaningful way, even if you begin to move out of its path at the very beginning of the "unit begins to throw bundle-nade" animation.
This applies to pgrens' bundle nade too, and I imagine the short fused gammon bombs. I think short fused grenades are fine, but these high explosive short fused nades are a real pain in the ass to deal with when the game's programming is such that clicking move doesn't move your whole squad, but some just linger around due to what I assume is the squad AI.
I know the patch notes claim this (AI) will be changed, so I'm not too upset about it, but it does make for some very infuriating moments when you as a player react correctly but still lose due to latency + AI not doing what you want.
Anyway, on fals themselves, I do think that they have a little too much utility between the bundle nade, faust, white phosphorous smoke (which slows movement), and the ability to camo on the move. I wouldn't go so far as to say they need to be nerfed though, as they are quite expensive for a 4 man squad.
Having used them pretty often the last few months, I know how easily they can be lost, so I wouldn't immediately jump to opplsnerf.gif |
A flare is a tool used ingame to aid in a situation. A t34/85 with Tiger stats is just a laughable overperformace. There's no similarity there. Although the T34/85 based on price alone argueably matches the current Tiger, it's still asymmetric.
Minor nitpick, but he said t34-85 being equal to panther, not tiger. |
I'd argue the opposite, that the IR/maphacks should be like the t-70. |
the 82mm auto fire is 30% slower and the barrage fire is 70% slower.
people way overblown the ROF advantage ost mortar have over the sov.
... What? These two statements seem contradictory to me, in what world is 30~70% better not a huge advantage? |
When they have to write that the Panther is in the best spot yet, I have trouble believing in that.
That's a recurring joke. Dane also didn't get it, apparently. |
You have to download it and then open it with the browser
Ah, thank you! |
Here you have a dps calculator made by cruzz, it has some stats https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7gwy65JLbSRMEJ3M2ZPandMMW8/view?usp=sharing
I think that link may be wrong... when I click it, all I get is this: https://i.imgur.com/VM7SEw1.png
Tried in multiple browsers too. |
Can someone enlighten me if the Soviet Sniper will now be a 1:1 (minus incendiary shot) with the Wehrmacht one?
The numbers don't really mean anything to me without a base of reference, and often enough saying "x was increased from 1.2 to 1.5" doesn't let me know if that means the unit is stronger or weaker as I'm not sure if the numbers means it takes more time or less time to do something. |
It should be noted that on some maps, things work much more differently. Red Ball Express comes to mind, and how much of a pain in the ass it is to flank around there.
In some cases, blowing a hole through the trees/hedge-rows is a good idea to flank around enemy front lines.
Also someone mentioned smoke -- the Scott has amazing smoke barrage capabilities now, and relatively low fuel cost. It's nothing close to a brumbar in terms of armor and infantry-annihilation, but yeah.
Also, if you can, try playing as wehrmacht/OKW some to see how others are able to beat you when you try the same strategy.
I play more 3v3/4v4 than I do 1v1 for sure, and tbh at some point it really does just boil down to who cheeses earlier and who cheeses harder. In my experience, after 30 minutes, it's always an artillery hell fest where the screen basically never stops shaking. |
