The nerf to Penal are too little to have an significant impact while the patch creates a whole new set of issues with nerf to Axis TDs, OKW support weapons and buffs to allied TDs... In addition the call in changes leave axis weaker and only nerf "lend lease" that will be replace by "counter tactics" (for mother Russia and Kv-1 spam) +1 1)Nerfing stug but leaving panther like that. 2)Increasing RA of raketenwerfer crew despite they get no cover 3)Ostwind (tier 3 unit) linked to tier 4 4)Panzer 4 still cost inefficient trash 5)Penals were still ultra cost efficient and still got their weapons for free, while the cooldown on the move nerf was really minimal. 6)Mg34 already ridiculously low dps was nerfed hard with nerfed weapon crew, but no compensating buff to suppression/mg dps 7)Jadgpanzer 4 with 185 average pen nerfed AND increased cost. 8)135 fuel jackson with no flaws ever in hp, pen, damage, mobility, all while point 1 and 7 In: COH2 Balance

But stugs have literally the same weapon as pz4, I liked your idea, but I don't know if that will make sense. (realistic wise) But for jadgpanzer maybe be good. M5 (soviets) Armor: 28.5 Rear armor: 20 Fuel cost: 30 Can upgrade to quad Can carry two squads 250 (ostheer) Armor: 11 Rear armor: 5.5 Fuel cost: 30 Can carry 1 squad It should get an armor buff to at least be immune to small arms fire for that fuel cost In: COH2 Gameplay

At that time the 70 fuel price was justified. Today it is not anymore, end of the story. It counter luchs, got good at capabilities against lights and has a good rof. At that time any light was nerfed, from stuart to puma and aec. The 70 price is more than justified, especially since t70 scale well with recon capabilities. In: COH2 Balance

With shock troops, I could perhaps omit them but when it came to with For Mother Russia what made it op was the additional armor they gained. Conscript with AT grenade pretty much does the same thing a penal with a stick satchel and do not remember it being op before when they and sprint and satchel. Though if it does become problematic, I could set them on the same cooldown? Specialized only 4 models cqb squad extremely expensive to buy and reinforce /=/ cheap spammable 6 men squad. Have you ever considered changing roles and prices with cons being 25 mp men with 90 muni stv upgrade and side tech while penals become 6 men cannon fodder and changing stats accordigly both in dps and RA (a 1.2 RA penals could be balanced imho). But I often enough played against them... and the 222 is a big MP-Bleeding pain in the ***. And I see, I couldn't make my point clear: I feel like beeing forced to go T2, but of course noone does. But in a even-out match, there is a period of time (which feels like forever), where you are getting hunted by that thing. There are 100000 ways to deal with lights without tier 2, like guards or m42. Additionally 222 is weak against small arms fire, and 3 cons with at grenade will kill it If you don't but tier 2 t70 will come in time to counter luchs. In: COH2 Balance

Anyways the AVRE rework is more of a buff than a nerf. The AVRE now has immense field presence and will actually kill more infantry while being more fair to play against. For the Sturmtiger, how would you rework it so it would not be squad wiping machine. Give exact stat changes. When it come to fighting vehicles, people do not like two shooting Elephants and Jagtigers while the Sturmtiger can kill in one? Multiple in one? Avre change is ok, good one Sturmtiger: Damage to 400 Far damage multiplier to 0.15 Distance far to 6 (it means with those stats that from 5.5 circa the blow won't be lethal for a model) Any unit in a radius of 8 units will be suppressed/pinned. +50% damage vs buildings and emplacements.
