It hits like a truck and even that that it doesn't turn into a red mist is suppressed. Any buffs would push it over the top. Sounds like a l2p issue to me tbh. More risk=more reward with rockets It only hits like a truck at near suicidal ranges.. at long range.. good luck as your not doing much.. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The Cancer That Is Soviet Field HQ6 Jan 2020, 22:30 PM The Soviet Field HQ ability is still broken on every single possible level imaginable . Huge buildings can be converted to a field HQ and have no chance of being destroyed until very late game and by then it is often too late. It is the most cheesiest ability in the entire game, requires no skill whatsoever, is risk free, is insanely cheap and cannot be balanced as the ability is fundamentally broken especially in team games. I cannot see a way around this but to remove the convertible building altogether in favour of only the buildable hq that is actually destroyable early / mid game.. In: COH2 Balance

If you really want to see a weak starting engineer unit, take a look at USF. To be fair the brits have the bofors which takes out infantry , light vehicles, medium vehicles, light tanks,medium tanks and aircraft as well acing as an artillery piece for only 280 manpower which is only 80 manpower more than a pioneer. Just nerf the 7-man upgrade a little (regular reinforce costs? no combat bonus in cover?) and push back meta heavy tanks by 1-2 CPs, and we'll have a basis for something. No need to throw an entire faction under the bus. Yes a grossly oversized 6 man weapon team with crazy survivability, with super fast set up time and good suppression with a cone of fire that it should never have gotten in the first place and backed up by 7man infantry squads and soviet ultra early game scout cars that single handidly limit any other strategy being used by an entire faction other than going grenadiers yes unbelievable how anyone can anyone complain about that!! The only option for a wehr player is to go grenadiers for snare literally no other tactic is possible as you will take heavy loses trying to rush out tier 2 or go a panzer gren build with no grens.
