Brummbar is slow as hell , expensive , has no turret, laughable range, gets stuck all the time , it will miss a shed load of shots due to awful tracking , long load time and inconsistent damage.
The american M8A1 motor carridge is better than a Brummbar in nearly all ways with massive range and damage for a far cheaper cost.. so yeah .. go figure..
The Brummbar needs its old range back with tracking and damage profile improved .
Some good ideas here , but grenadiers should be able to build sandbags at stock from the get go.
Ostwind is okay unless there is something on the map blocking it in which case every single round will colide with terrain and deal no damage whatsoever.
The MG42 should be the dominant stock mg in the game but its not. It would be plausible to increase its tracking speed as well as a minor damage buff.
even if a ostwind hits cover while attacking a unit they still will take some dmg. they shoot to fast imo
It really depends and there are MANY MANY times when the Ostwind in certain positions will not score a single hit and do no damage no matter how many shots you try.
You utterly forget that the ostwind rounds colide with anything and everything. There are many situations where the ostwind will not land a single hit because of terrain . The centaur does not have this problem...
The Mg42 could really do with faster target acquisition and a slight damage buff with a cost increase to 270 manpower. This should help compensate for the ultra lacklustre grenadiers. The Mg42 should be hands down the best stock MG in the game by a considerable margin but its not.
It's just names for one thing - they get boosts in cover and are very potent out of it too. They can bolster without a doctrine, get lots of different weapons including at etc.
... and build sandbags.
I thought it was hilarious when people were saying IS got penalities outside cover yet they still utterly wrecked axis infantry even without it. The bonus is just icing on the cake .
I think that none of the mainline infantry should be able to build sandbags/cover unless it's a commander feature. That should be left for pios and engineers.
That's another option , anything is better than the one sided matchups we have now to be honest.
