Me and my friend are putting together a strategy to kill Heavy tanks
We found out the IR pathfinder artillery from Recon Support Company or 155mm artillery from Mechanized Company along with the stuns of Tulip Rocket Strike from Sherman firefly could "one shot" any Heavy tank.
So my question is, what commander overall in 2v2 scenario is better, Recon Support Company or Mechanized Company?
The thing which still baffles me the most:
In my opinion CoH2 is the only game of the last few years which i would call remotely next-gen.
The units behave so naturally, the level of detail is astounding. yesterday i crushed a table in front of a house with a t70 and the table fell in an authentic manner. the sounds of a damaged engine tank... just zoom in and enjoy.
i mean. litereally every match is a war movie if you zoom in and tilt the camera. which game in the world does offer that?
i find it sad
- how relic treats their game
- how few people recognize the beauty of this game
- how the press constantly overlooks this game and
-how MOBAs are preventing advances in RTS gameplay and graphics (dow3)
You are goddamn right
Few people recognize the greatness of this game and the possible potential.
Personally I'd like both abilities removed. On the axis side Stuka CAS is "I click, I win" If you're anywhere under topspeed. For USF p47s are unreliable and because their damage output is based on the physical rocket projectile hitting the target, it can be negated by high density building areas and maps such as City 17. Not to mention that the rockets do tend to miss a lot. Overall though I'd at least like to have stuka CAS toned down a bit and definatly remove the ability to stun/critically damage vehicles. P47s I think are more or less fine, just reduce price to 200 like stuka CAS.
That's for the Stuka loiter though ^, I think the Close air support doctrine with the stuka straffe should still cause stuns, but not critical engine damage since it still requires similar time for the loiter to arrive, but hits a fixed area preset on callin.
Finally a good comment among the bianess of this community from both sides.
I'm really trying to understand Relic decisions.
Company of heroes have been the larger game community that they have, and even after the release of Dawn of War 3 still have the larger player base.
Why they act like they are not even caring about the game?
Yes but that doesn't really matter because the circle is puny and the rockets miss all the time. But, hey, it doesn't require sight, so clearly it's equal to Stuka strafes because requirement of LoS clearly balances out with consistence in damage and good probability of inflicting like 3 criticals on every strafe with rockets that miss everything smaller than a JT's broadside *end sarcasm* (which funnily enough can probably shoot through the circle anyway).
Ostensibly that it doesn't require sight but that's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Usf turbo mortar wouldn't be ok if it required LoS al the time.
