- WP Sherman hard countering AT-guns. Not sure why WP Sherman + bulldozer is one slot ability. It´s silly. 110 Fuel Shermans with high HP armor and built in hard counter to AT-guns? Who thought this was a good idea?
- Rifle Grenade is a horrible design. Makes enemy micro like crazy just to still lose all the engagements because units who need to mover can´t fight properly. Unlike a flamer the RE shoots the grenade from a safe distance over shot blockers etc. It´s basically like a mortar but 10x better. I think it´s both too good and badly designed. On maps with lots of garrisons it´s even worse because you can put the RE into the house and they still shoot the damn grenades. Why is that?
- Molotovs for Riflemen are good increasing USF potency in infantry engagements even more without any drawback. It´s USF and UKF design that you need to tech grenades. Now you don't and it makes the Volks/Grens vs Riflemen dynamic even more unbalanced.
- Sprint + Rangers with elite zooks = Terrible idea. PzGrens with Shrecks are ok because of 4 men but on a durable 5 men Rangers squad this is just another silly idea. The power creep with this doctrine is once again just too much. How many more buffs does USF get???

If Tiger Ace is allowed to be built within 13 minutes ( I did this last night) then all the other heavy units/call ins should be built in a similar way. Tiger Ace is WAY too good to right now for 13 minute.
Opponent was easy AI? No way can you get a Tiger Ace that fast in a game of somewhat evenly skilled players. And if your opponent is way worse spamming Ostwinds or P4would finish the game even faster. |
15 minute JT would be super effective too. You could use it to clear obstacles with heavy crush giving you the ultimate edge in infantry engagements. |
I had this one guy, who i had to carrie almost throughout the whole game. So then he went for b4's and still went for them, even tho i nicely asked for a tank of him after the first b4 got dropped by a stuka dive bomb.
Then we lost the game because he wasted all his mp and fuel on the b4s which got dropped almost instantly

57mm AT gun: great VS light vehicles, could we combine APCR rounds and focus sight into 1 and make it a free toggle so that Jacksons aren’t the only reliable source of AT vs Panthers and above?
Why should the 57mm AT gun be the best and cheapest AT-gun (except for Raketenwerfer) at the same time?

You totally got me, T-34 has 150 armor, T-34-85 has 160. Yes 10 armor difference would shown a completely different picture

The Ostwind isnt OP against medium tanks. It does do decent damage if it can get a flank off while the Allied medium tank is distracted with another tank or AT-gun but that´s about it. The test of the OP is meaningless beucase in a regular game there is always infantry, at guns or micro input around.
IMO the Ostwind is a bit too good against Allied LVs now. Yes the Centaur does the same but the mobility of the Ostwind allows it to chase LVs, especially T70s, while the Centaur is way too slow to chase down a Luchs or Puma.

The cheapest squad in that list is 30mp more, just so you are aware. Not even counting the 35 fuel for the 5 man Tommies and the fuel and munitions for BAR rifles. Tell us again why 250mp unit with 60 mu should even be comparable to those, some elite and over 300mp squads?
Se THAT is precisely the issue. Volks SHOULDN'T be putting up a fight against something lick fu king shocks.
Make Obers more accessible
Make volks preform PER THEIR COST.
There is no reason for a cheap unit to have an undroppable, good on the move and "buff damage at all ranges" weapon for the low low tech cost of "playing the game and trying to get tanks out"
I would have sturms be the early punch. Cheaper as outlined earlier and flexible in role.
Volks are to flesh out the lines and provide volume of fire (no, they are not there to counter much more expensive elite infantry, despite what their 10mp more than cons might suggest)
OKW player specializes their tier to hold ground or take initiative depending on playstyle /map control
Obers come next to swing the initiative or add more ounch
Then tanks.
Again, volks SHOULD NOT be the answer to elite or kitted out infantry. Cons struggle against blood upgunned grens at the same mp price, why for the love of God shouldn't volks be struggling against more expensive infantry with extra fuel and extra munitions thrown at them?
In terms of raw combat power STG Volks are significantly worse than double bar riflemen and upgraded infantry sections. They have no chance against Shocks or Guards either. So your entire rant is based on something that isn't real.
If you ever happen to play OKW vs UKF you will understand why it´s absolutly not possible to take STGs away from them when they already get destroyed so hard even with STGs.
