I can understand your point, but this here is key for this unit IMO. Like the heavy TDs, these tanks excel at those lane heavy "redball" type maps where mobility it limited, and the only way around these heavy tanks is through them. Then you go into 1v1 and a mix of mobility and lethality is a must. I guess it depends more if the balance team wants this unit to be a teamgame only unit like the heavy TDs primarily, or strong in 1s but almost always a go-to in teams as it used to be. This may be true in stats, but why in tightropes tests did the KT miss 4 times in a row vs a nearby squad when the Pershing, IS2 (albeit 1 miss) and Tiger all wiped in 1 shot? The KT also costs more and is probably about 2/3 the speed of these other tanks. In exchange for 2(?) or 3(?) in the case of the pershing in HP and 75 more armor than the Tiger 1. My point is, you pay more and get minimal armor boost (and none in the case of the IS2), more HP, lower speed, typically engaging larger squads and higher pen TDs. Just isn't worth mathmatically. maxim ain't great I know. And I know that OP may not be the pinacle of skill like many other forum goers, ![]() As far as the maxim currently goes, it's basically just an SoL situation. Which would you rather have, a medicore MG that can barely scrap by as an MG, or fighting against MG spam which you have little hope of countering. And when I say little hope of countering, I mean OKW. Maxim spam is still very much an OKW headache on specific maps like crossing in the woods where flanking is virtually impossible. OST at least has a t1 mortar that can help deal with it, but I'm sure it still wasn't fun for them. OKW is exactly how they were back in those days except that now the LeIG has smoke. Unfortunatly the LeIG is still in the subpar tier and OKWs teching is still problematic. Maybe if we changed the LeIG profile to that of a mortar instead of a model killing sniper it'd work better vs the 6 man maxim. In: COH2 Balance |

its 45 and always was I'll be damned, it is 45. I can't believe the IS2 has 40 range LUL. In: COH2 Balance |

KT range is 50 (or it should be unless it was nerfed and I missed it). In: COH2 Balance |

As far as the Su85 goes, more rotation rate and/or a more forgiving moving accuracy penalty would always be nice. It already has good sight, pen and reload. In: COH2 Balance |

Can you all guess what stance I'm going to take on this topic? ![]() While the KT is no longer piss poor IMO, it is still surprising that in tightropes tests the Tiger 1 was substantially better. I expect the IS2 and pershing are to be on par with the Tiger 1 as well. So what I don't understand is why a more expensive slower unit, but with more armor and HP has to have a gun that is even worse than its heavy counterparts. In: COH2 Balance |
