What if you removing firing through blockers entirely, but increased their range to 120? (+50%) It'd then be about giving them the biggest sight lines possible rather than literally building them behind houses. Their brittleness also wouldn't matter as much with ranges like that. You could make them both decrewable no-brace units like the Pak 43 is now. In: COH2 Balance

AA Halftracks can counter these new T2 skip builds and force backteching or severe map control loss until Ostwind arrives. People just have to let go of their trusted builds (like T-70 rush) and adapt. Both AAHTs kill the 222. It takes three Panzershreck hits to kill an AAHT, and suppression doesn't stop them firing. Get a second Panzershreck squad (680/200/0 vs 520/0/20 to tech the Pak) and you'll probably kill it outright. An AAHT doesn't force you to sidetech T2 any more than an OKW AAHT forces Soviet to sidetech T2. Yes, there are things which work against Panzergrenadiers pretty well, but those things also work against T2. T2's off-meta and bad value even if everyone does switch over to AAHTs. In: COH2 Balance

That choice is heavily undermined by the current state of affairs: the Pak requires 200 MP 20 FU of sidetech and the Panzergrenadiers don't. In: COH2 Balance

Not having access to paks can really suck sometimes and personally I'm pretty wary of skipping T2 because of that. See, here I completely disagree. I think the Pak is easier to counter with light vehicles than a Shreck Squad. Mobility is the whole point of infantry AT. In: COH2 Balance

WP shot is strong I agree, but I don't think it needs a nerf. Rangers with zooks are probably the most imbalanced thing in the commander, maybe just cut it down to two zooks. RE nades are a non-issue and probably the most gimmicky thing in the commander. White Phosphorous is a cool commander ability, but putting it on the HE Sherman and throwing in the uparmouring upgrade in the same commander is a bit much. White Phosphorous lets the Sherman counter AT guns pretty hard, and the uparmouring upgrade gives it the edge over medium tanks. That being said, this is also a Calliope commander, so maybe the redundancy balances it out? USF and OKW in general could really do with a reshuffle of their commander abilities. The crazy 'do everything' commanders need less stuff in them, and the trash heap commanders need some serious love. In: COH2 Balance

Conscripts can keep their unique Barricade structure, but if Volks and Sections can build bags, Grenadiers and Riflemen should be able to too. I'd personally favour removing bags from Sections and Volks, and adding them to Sturmpioneers, Rear Echelon Troops, Combat Engineers and Royal Engineers. In: COH2 Gameplay
