What no they perfrom good better then piats bazookas etc. And just bc one unit can get them then look at OKW they often blob panzerschrecks and easily destroy big tanks same goes for bazookas and piats are ok too. They do not underperform they do better then the things that is compared to that.
That isn't true. Schreck-team maybe perform worse than enemy units do, because they don't force so fast tanks.
Best counter versus Schrecks = road-kill.
Now do the same versus PTRS or Pios with Piats = gg.
It is the needed brain, Alliis need less. ^^ |
Because it's unnecessary and people who want it to be able to tank multiple shots and remove the travel time are not interested in learning how to use it properly and changing the format of the weapon to cater to this who, again, don't want to learn how to use the current one properly adds unnecessary work and takes resources away from actually under performing units and mechanics like the entirety of the British faction.
That is true, can't say no. But it is sad, because CoH2 waisted most potential by simply beeing not accurate, so many things had to become fantasy-balanced, cutting into the game logic. There are some may wrong animations, false fx_, complete unlogical DPS. CoH1 made many things way better in Vanilla, I would simply copy some units (or imitate them). |
...
That is true, but it depends on the rocket speed etc. could be changed. Or would you say Katjusha, Calliope and Mattress are op?
My spot is, the Panzerwerfer was the only mobile weapon-platform was able to change direct fire with mortar-mode. So, why not simply use the most logical solution? ^^
|
A low angle firing mode would basically guarantee a wipe every time you use it.
I would nerf the fire-rate of Panzerwerfer too, not only because it looks stupid. As it is now, it would be OP, that is true.
Edit: beside, I think it wouldn't be more OP than Katjusha, because rockets have worse stats. BUT it would punish blobbers.
The hole game is only blobbing. Cancer every game showing the bad fraction and unit design. |
Make the officer non doc then we can talk.
lol no.
But I am for a Panzerwerfer-buff, give it a low-angle barrage with 70 range. That should be enough buff. |
Artillerieoffizier and the game is yours xD |
What? You do realise that to actually get a demo charge onto an LEFH can be no easy task right? Its a hell of a lot easier to 1 click with abilities. The only thing I would say is broken is that mandos demos are not on CD with glider drop, but its not exactly subtle and the planting time isnt instant.
Goliath should 1hk arty pieces too including Preists and Sextons (Which I think it does anyway?)...
Normally you see no protectors for Artys, maybe the OKW-base. With luck you can set the bomb with ease. You can kill the crew is secounds with gun-fire, decrewed supportweapon will be a fuk. I can't see the problem.
Goliath is better, because it is way more difficult to use it. And for that it is still UP versus vehicles. But that is an other story. |
I would decrease the fire-rate of Panzerwerfer but give it an extra ability for a low-angle attack, increasing the acc. and speed of rockets for saying ~70 range.
So it can change to a small katjusha-modus.
I would also change the Ostheer tech. |
good point. but what about a mortar ht later in the game specially when start putting trenches every where??
A Mortar-halftruck is allways a good idea, if you can protect it from tank-fire.
a. it doesn't have to build up and down, meaning your weapon-platform is faster than a normal mortar-squad.
b. fire-bombs became usful again, since last patch. Versus trenches use normal shells to save mun, you also get a garrison-damage-bonus that way.
c. it has way more surviveability than a mortar-crew, you can dodge Katjushas etc. by simply driving. |
Don't think this was the point of OP.
HMG problems are mostly your own problems (no offense), once that yellow suppresion icon hits that shock-nade won't save your 5-man G43 grenadiers. Just don't get them in the firing lane of the Maxim and smoke or shell the enemy positions first with your mortar team(s).
That isn't my point. For me the HMG42 is an overkill for the moment it arrives, it simply comes to early. But Grens are designed to work only with support of a suppression-platform because they have no chance versus Cons or rangers in close-combat. Many maps doesn't offer a real use of HMG42 and then Grens simply sucks, for that the Schock-nade could prevent overrunning and give Grens some overall buff by ability, which is descent and expensive, but can be good in right situations.
Everyone can deal with MGs, but dealing with stupid blobbs is an other story.
Over the years Grens become a really boring unit, that would bring in more fresh wind. |
