In contrast Bolt action rifles have be reload manually, in game K98, Mosin, Enfield are bolts action weapons. False. A carbine is a shortened rifle usually intended Intended for cavalry or engineers who would be hindered by a full size rifle. The G43, SVT, and M1 are full size semi auto battle rifles. The SVT with a scope is good for 1km accurate shots, hardly short range. The only rifle you listed which is a carbine is well the M1 carbine. Meh 2 slow. In: COH2 Balance

As a fix I'd - Change the svt profile at range to match the m1. Increase the recieved accuracy vet bonus abit. I only can suggest to give them upgrade with "PTRS packs". With them T1 will become more popular and Penals won't be "little better copy of cons with flamers and BIGBADABOOMBA". From a game design pov t1 is missing a guards type unit. Mainline long range dpser, ptrs upgrade for soft at, lmg for later scaling. It leaves cons with utility cheap tanking & mid range, possibly with non doc ppsh for short range. It fits together nicely. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Royal Engineers are broken19 Mar 2016, 15:08 PM The Tommy/Sapper relationship is one the better designed parts of Brits though the execution leaves something to be desired. They can't be directly compared to the t0 engies as they come put later & both ost and okw have non doc elites to mix into their infantry whereas UkF only have tommies/sappers all the way through. Even UKF doc gives specialised ambush elites which clearly aren't intended for mainline AI. Quite frankly a mix of tommies/sappers is alot more fun then sappers being engies only and tommies getting spammed like rifles. Tommies have so much broken stuff its not only funny. Cover nerf is borked should only effect enfields. Pyro upgrade is pointless. Ukf main heal is on mailine infantry ????? vet 3 enfields do nothing but mess with brens nade is expensive and dosent mesh with lr nature of squads. Hammer gives another nade that shares cooldowns - 3 nades on Pyro tommies ????? Piats suck meaning a carrier isnt important. Fix the above and the true state of tommies can be looked at. You are incorrect, however, about the Tommy squad bonus (or did they ninja-change it last patch?). You can easily test it with PIATs in-cover and out-of-cover. It looks like the Tommy bonus is bugged. Guessing its a copy and paste of the RE bonus - the sten reference has been changed to the enfield. The out of cover nerf has been put in a different branch for some reason. If I'm reading it right the vet 1 +10 sight bonus only applies to models with an enfield and the out of cover nerf effects every weapon? Must be a bug. In: COH2 Gameplay
