The idea with the sniper is to keep it more in the background with grens screening the sniper. Eventually, your grens will win because the sniper's picking off the cons. This is very similar to the role that the sniper played in Rifles vs Volks. Volks would end up winning because the Wehr sniper is picking off the rifles.
At the end of the day, the Ostheer sniper's worst enemy is indirect fire, esp when countersniping is really difficult if you keep your sniper at the back.

I just have no damn idea what you are trying to say. Are you saying the game is not historically accurate enough, or that it is choosing realism while forgoing gameplay? At one point you say the soviet army is far from OP and then you list things about how OP the soviets are.
Between the run-on sentences, direct contradictions and typos/slang, your posts are very hard to digest.

yea i am saying soviet early game needs a change a BIG one this M3 and conscript spam everywhere needs a change they are currently OP too much cheap units and spam-able the crew are an issue to have 6 men i just uploaded a replay which can be found here and just see the crew vs crew fight:

i do not need to explain anything but this replay completely shows why soviet crews shouldnt be 6 men. i got my axis mortar crew to vet 1 but since they are only 3 men and enemy has to kill only 2 of them i keep losing them all the time on retreat i got 3 mortars vs 1 120MM mortar and 120mm kills them all it even kills Pak43 lol just watch this replay see how many different troops me and my teammate have to use to be able to only control 2 part of the map. OH AND I FORGOT you will see alot of M3 battle in this game its funny how MG42 cant touch its paint if it doesnt have APCR.

I don't see how the M3 could be any useful if you can't garrison it. Also, the AOE matters because if the upgunned scoutcar turns to be also an effective AI unit it would be not only worth its cost, but even a better investment vs both Russian players who go for mass infantry->Shock Troops or those who go for M3s->Guards. Also, with the AOE increased radius the AC should be able to:
a) damage the M3 even if it doesn't hit it directly but it hits the ground close to it
b) do more damage to units inside the M3
Which could potentially change things. The problem in my opinion is how fast you can reach M3s and how spammable they are, and the solution (imho) is not in changing the M3 directly but in making it harder for the Russian player to accumulate so much early game MP to invest in snipers/guards/multiple M3s without any real risk (which means that you can go whatever you want because you will always feel comfortable enough to invest that MP in those units).
That's the reason because both Sepha and I think that Conscripts reinforce cost should be increased, this would probably delay the M3 of at least 30secs/1minute, enough time to give the German player the chance to have some more stuff on the field to counter it.
The only thing I would change to the M3 is its penetration, I would decrease it a bit.
And I would decrease the range of the PTRS to match the shooting distance of an upgunned AC, so at least it would be a question of microing and skill.
Having said that, we'll see in the next tourneys if there's any player who found out a way to stop the M3 push

Perhaps Vet 1 / 2 Osteer Snipers should have a high probability of killing multiple men in support squads? This would counter act the big squads.
