Side note on that glitch, I've seen AI Tommies and Ostruppen still have the graphic for their cover bonus while crewing team weapons, does it work for the team weapon or just the crew? |

Its waaaaay too potent to be a one-click wonder. I'd rather see it be dangerous on all maps, but require some sort of interaction outside of a single click. My thoughts would be a muni cost to have it counter-battery any chosen area of the map for a time, so if you preempt where the arty will fire from, you'll be rewarded for it. |

Anyways, long range damage is probably the way to go so you get a shield/spear dynamic between cons and penals rather then awkward overlap like you have now. |
Soviets are fine, just a few minor changes needed:
- Small increase in maxim set-up time to make the maxim a support unit rather than an autonomous a-move unit that can function very well on its own.
- Penal troops need some utility. Penal troops really do not serve any role not already filled by other troops. They are only moderately more expensive and powerful than Conscripts, which does not justify the cost of getting T1 in order to build them. One option would be to make them elite-infantry by simply increasing both their cost and DPS.
- 120mm mortar is not worth 13 supply; it should be reverted back to 10 supply.
Other than that the faction is fine.

Recently I have used defensive tactics.
Engis, Sniper, Cons, Cons, DHSK, M42, DSHK into T70 and T34/76 or SU85 and Katy.
You'd be amazed how funny this doctrine is (despite being shit ). And with such build and doctrine we (2v2) were able to win smoothly agasint top 50 Axis AT many times.
Mark that I make engis as a first unit beciase double engis are essential for Anti-Personel mines spam.

In 2v2 where its at its peak, I've been going Luft supply lately. If they're hunkering down, it gives you freedom to fuel drop at 3cp and burn the rats out of their nest at 6 with the flame drop. |
