I would argue for bringing back the fuel tag, increasing its stock durability a bit and upping it further when the flamer or Kgun are added. |
T-34-85 in stock is best and simpliest way to fix T4, really!. About SU-85 - let Relic buff it damage/penetration to Firefly's level and call it Su-100. Will be pretty usefull against KTs and Panthers.
Eh, it works, buts its a bland fix. To me personally, being able to have 2-3 tanks for each of my opponent's is a much more interesting design. |
I've been advocating something similar to the OP for a while. The heart and soul of the T34/76 is a swarm-y piece of crap tank, which would also make it unique from the more "quality" mediums of the other factions. MP reduction + fuel hike is the way to go, though I would personally argue closer to 240/90.
I used to think the T34/85 as stock was a good idea, but the SU-85 is already outclassed by SU-76s. Making it also compete with stock T34/85s would probably kill the SU-85. |
A little underwhelming, but it sounds like there's more down the pipeline, so no big deal.
Maxim change is really good, I was expecting them to make it generic or useless, but this actually sounds decent. Without penal buffs though, Soviets are going to have a pretty rocky early game vs. OKW. Until DSHK shows up.
Emplacements change is... odd. Not bad, but not what I expected.
Shock buff is nice, 120mm pop fix sounds like its time for me to brush the dust off Guards Motor.
Anyways, sounds like the real big patch is on the way, I'm looking forward to it. |
And then free trucks drove into Allied infantry so they autolose firefights, providing one of the weirdest balance issues I've ever seen in my gaming career.
Oh man truck crushing was hilarious
I remember a gif with shocks being crushed by an OKW command truck, but I can't seem to find it now :/ |
I wish the animation was a little more obvious since its not always easy to see one Gren crouching in the middle of a pitched fight, but the rifle grenade's hard stats are fine. |
Any time, just visit official forums, its there already
Hehehehehe, AssGrens = Shocks, totz legit. |
Blatantly overpowerd? With what, I would like to know?
I only know about 2 "good" things of Maxims. Fast setup/packup and 6 men squads. First is hardly "nerfed" with smallest arc of fire in game and lowest AoE supression. As result - it is worst HMG to work against blobs, which are very popular in OKW, for example.
6 men squads is very questionable benefit. It still can be wiped by 1 shot, KT doing it pretty well, Stukas and Werfers are nice in that... So, I don't know, what makes Maxim so OP? Maybe it is super-cheap? But no, it is 20-40 MP cheaper, than other HMGs, but don't forget, that same MG-42 or Vikkers are T0 MGs - you don't need to spend 160 MP before, for to get them, so it is kinda compensation, not benefit.
So, tell me please, what makes Maxims so OP?
Go watch NA ESL. |
Maybe those, who saying, that HMG-34 UP also have serious L2P problems? Or those, who crying about "poor Ostheer infantry"? Or maybe "Empacement fortification" is not OP - that's axis players should L2P for to counter it effectively, instead of crying everywhere on forumboards?
Let's call all, who (sometimes reasonably) thinks, that some unit is UP "L2P retards". Veeeery reasonable, bro, veeeeeery reasonable. Somehow it will happen, that 95% of population of CoH 2 forums will become L2P retards, and maybe even you.
Maxim is blatantly overpowered, as you'd know if you'd stop "crying everywhere on the forumboards" and started to actually play the game. |
Now I'm relieved...am I?
I for one am eagerly awaiting the upcoming "Assault Grenadiers 2 stronk" thread.
As to the Maxim wheels, motorcycle pathing is a bit of a pain sometimes, right up there with the gun not teleporting when the guy carrying it is dropped. Hopefully this'll be changed when the Maxim finally gets nerfed to actually support. |
