I'm with Cultist after playing Miragefla's mod. 2x PzB with combined performance around the zook's would really help the faction get mobile again. |
I've been messing around in MirageFla's mod and I'm starting to think giving them 2x panzerbusches with the same firing time, pen and accuracy as a bazooka with half damage so DPS is the same as the zook is necessary. The faction's not bad, but they've become really defensive because of their reliance on Raks, which isn't really how the faction should be.
In a similar regard, I'm also thinking returning suppression Kubel with more HP but a higher cost and locked behind a tier structure like the current MG34 might be the way to give them mobile suppression. |
Its actually getting an indirect buff this patch from the lower teching cost for Ostheer, meaning more werfers are likely to hit the field. |
Heads up, Relic changed the MG34. It comes from the HQ now when a single truck has been put up, so it'll be available regardless of truck chosen. |
Its a sniper tank-destroyer with high pen, high accuracy and self-spotting. It needed this to do something different then the SU-76 without murdering medium tanks really, really hard. |
This is why we needed an early-release patch. I THINK OKW can get by with faust + rak, but its impossible to know for sure until we actually can test it hands on. |
That shouldn't be possible. AT guns have 60 range, Brums have 40 range + 10 from Hull Down. |
A minor trick, the fuel drop doesn't need to be dead center of your base. You can drop it at the far edges of your base to reduce the chance of it being shot down.
That being said, I really don't like AFD's design. The German drop is more flexible (fuel and muni) has a shorter cooldown, and its weakness is losing map control, a natural part of the game. AFD's costs and such are odd, but the all-or-nothing nature of the counter is what really makes it frustrating. Honestly, the two should be mirrored, the German drop is just so much more organic and better designed then AFD. |
Raketen + fausts should probably be fine for OKW early game, though we'd need to dig in to be sure. I am a little worried they're becoming too reliant on team weapons and becoming too much like Ostheer.
Also, sounds to me like its time to wipe the dust off Elite Armor, AI volks + Armor Piercing Pumas, lets do this! |
