So imo a vet 3 JP 4 has inferior bonus to a vet 3 SU-85 to M36 I would even go so far to say even to FF.

The panther isnt meant to counter the IS2... its meant to counter allied mediums... use your own superheavy tanks/tds to counter the IS2...

And if you think that allied heavy TDs shouldnt be countering panthers then youve admitted bias...

Then again we should just ignore this troll thread from the guy that loses panthers to AECS like a scrub...

They kind of have it, given its doctrinal and you need an outpost that costs fuel and then you need to pay muni each time you'd want to use it, but its there.

My Sherman pen goes 140/120/100.
But apart from that, the raw pen value is pretty misleading. We should compare pen chances against a certain target, for example against other stock mediums.
OST P4 has ~70% pen chance against Sherman/Cromwell at range 20, it's 65% the other way around. The bigger the range, the better the P4s perform, at lower ranges P4 and Sherman/Cromwell become pretty much similar (all calculated with "my" penetration stats of Sherman).
This system sounds alright considering the slightly lower price for Sherman/Cromwell.
