Somewhat like cons and penals for soviets. If you want to use your lower tier units as strong mainline inf you need to to make it a dedicated choice (using a commander). Same as cons can't keep up with other mainline inf. Ost has other great tools to win fights that everyone is forgetting and want to make them strong in every aspect. This is theory is simply flawed. Penal can be the backbone of your army even stock. PGs can not simply because they come much later. In: COH2 Balance

For the same price (280MP+90MU), Allies have: Rifleman with one M1919 Infantry Section with two Brens Assault Engineers with one Flamethrower PF has no chance to beat any of them. If double shrecks are OP, can we nerf this upgrade instead of PF? Like giving PF worse version of shrecks (low accuracy maybe) or AT Rifles? One more thing, I like the Panzer Commander change. It provides off-map indirect fire which fits this doctrine's offensive theme well. To make things worse the cost is not 280+90 but +1 reinforce cost. At 280 you are buying a unit which worse than VG. (only good thing is AT grenade) For 280+25=305 +90mu you get a units that is inferior/less cost efficient than Penal although it arrives later and cost more. For 280 +120 you can get a good AT units with little AI. The Tiger is also expensive at 630/230 although requiring full tech. In: Lobby

Thanks for answering my question. The majority of units use different weapons, there are close to 1.000 different weapons in the game (not all of them are used in MP). My point is that is has synergy regardless if the ability is strong or not. I have actually suggested that it should probably truck enemy vehicles with in the strafe area in order to become more effective. They would make the first unit that gets assaulted out of camouflage immediately retreat due to the +50% accuracy for 5seconds. Obers would vet even faster than they do now and it would be a crap shoot to find them when they hog a fuel point like on Faux Farmlands south. Try routing them with a tank if they can be anywhere nading from far away. You would basically make commandos but with better medium DPS. Also it's against the obers "lore". They are basically Waffen-SS. Crazy fanatical soldiers. Even their idle talk goes around burning everything down to the ground and letting nobody alive. I dont think its them being the stealth sneaks, they are balls to the wall fanatics attacking or perishing in the attempt. Not all cloaked units get a "first strike" bonus. In: COH2 Balance

I feel like the AT strafe continues to be the weak link in this commander as the ability that is supposed to be your late-game AT supplement. While I appreciate a new ability for variety and something that is cheaper and able to be used more often I find the "skill shot" nature too problematic for the ability to be ever be useful as just a pure DPS ability due to the high liklihood of most of the rockets missing. If this ability remains a skill shot I think there should be some kind of temporary debuff applied similar to tulip rockets so that it can function as more of a synergy ability to work with AT guns and SU85s and still reward you for near misses and glancing blows. The ability already has synergy with ram. You ram then fire rockets. Imo medium tank use should be encouraged instead of the Infantry/TD spam and being able to stop a flank on one of these TD with cheap call-in planes would be a step in the wrong direction. In: Lobby

It also has almost TWICE the DPS of M3 at long range(which it always wants to be). So tune down that hot air pipe of yours. Its cost efficiency is fine FOR A FUEL FREE 210MP STOCK VEHICLE OF A SCOUT, BACK CAPPER AND HARASSER ROLE. The DPS max of the m3 is 4.04 and of Kubel is 7.03 so its more like x174%. But that is half the picture: From range 22 M3 has more DPS. More importantly Kubel has terrible moving modifiers lowering its DPS at max range to 1.56 while the M3 has 2.021 and at close range 1.49 (for kubel) vs 9.21 for M3. That makes the M3 better since this unit need to keep moving and the M3 far better at chasing enemy unit. Not to mention that M3 has 5.4 armor which is the same as 221... The kubel is currently one of the least cost efficient car in the game and that is why it sees far less use than other cars. In: COH2 Balance

The Command Panzer 4 aura still gives 20% damage reduction in the current live version. Well it seem that patch-notes are wrong and that would explain why it the C.Panzer does not suck that much . Then it is: 1.200 EHP for a Panther with C.Panzer IV 1.280 EHP for a Panther in hulldown 1.600 EHP for both My point still stand giving bonuses for hulldown according to units role will help to balance the ability better making useful for more units and providing the necessary info is not that hard.
