Something like -10% efficacy per squad over 2? So someone with 5 con squads would ahve -30% to all cons. If I remember correctly in Coh 1 wer pio suffered a damage or received accuracy penalty when they where spammed. In: COH2 Balance

You should ask yourself that question since you claimed that Ostheer get "free" grenades and weapon upgrades and then used it as an argument for not getting 5 member. UKF get a tone of "free" things yet they also get a 5 member. The weapon upgrades and Grenades come with the Tech cost of BP 1 the same way other factions get other things for "free" with teching. The claim about "free" things for Ostheer, simply does not hold much water. And actually I personally disagree with non elite, powerful lmg, squads with more than 4 members. In: COH2 Balance

Ostheer grenades and weapon upgrades are not "free" they need BP 1 research. On the other hand Allied call-in grenades are "free" (don't remember if OKW's call-in infatry need a truck for grenades or not). In: COH2 Balance

Perhaps Vipper could confirm/deny but i thought it was a much lower margin (like 4% or lower) to count as negated. Su-85 has 240/230/220 penetration going up to 312/299/286 at vet 2. JP 4 has 230/80 armor. Chance to penetrate for Su-85 frontally at range 60 are 95.6%. As far as I can remember the limited of calculation is 3%. JP has a chance to bounce a Su-85 shell at range 60 but it really small. In: COH2 Balance

And as I explained FF does not need vet 3 to hit the JP. Due to 45 mid range and tank commander it has an excellent chance to hit the JP4 even at vet 0. I did mention at what vet FF gets the accuracy bonus because it is different from the other TDs, but a FF does not need it against a JP4, so it is not a part of my argument. In: COH2 Balance

It also has grenades, WP and 45 vision and can easily kite AT PG, AT SP or AT ST. It can even counter counter ATGs better than most other tanks. So I am not really sure what someone should expect from this unit. In: COH2 Balance

I did not bring vet 3 into this. A FF has 94% chance to score a "natural" hit vs a JP from range 45 (which become even higher due to collision hits)(75% at range 60). By vet 3 its has 100% to hit a kubel in the same range. Su-86 and M36 get the accuracy at vet 2 (more accurate than normal shot HVAP at vet 1). The JP4 is survivable, Su-85 have the best gun, Jackson have speed, Firefly have (expensive) alpha strike. They need cost adjustment. The jp4 and Firefly need to be cheaper. FF needs to have its mid range adjusted to 30 as the rest of TDs and probably the tulips locked behind Anvil/Hammer (or maybe tulips only for Hammer and 17p only for Anvil). Imo the TDs should be separated in "heavy TDs" (high penetration low accuracy) and "medium TDs" (meduim penetration high accuracy) and TS readjusted so that mediums tanks are not completely shut down the expensive TDs.
