Thread: soo when can they fix the maxim deathloop?2 Sep 2018, 17:44 PM Jump back to quoted post2 Sep 2018, 17:14 PMgbem not really since the HMG is firing at the same kind of target... a maxim MG may kill a cons squad more quickly than a 50 cal may kill an obersoldaten... but that doesnt mean the maxim outdamages the 50 cal... the nature of scientific testing requires all other variables to be constant or in check except the dependent variable... when there is a greater degree of variability upon said variables you increase your sample size to compensate... That theory went out with USF mortar. If one contacted test between USF/Ostheer mortar against conscripts he would probably come to the conclusion that USF is slightly better in game it was proven to be OP. Incremental accuracy and higher TS probably help the HMG-42/HMG-34 be more accurate vs cons and thus suppress them faster. I used this numbers to calculate the DPS according to Relics formula. Shocks: -PPsH-41 mid range accuracy from 0.276 to 0.35 -PPsH-41 aim-time multiplier from 1.25 to 0.85 -PPsH-41 cooldown duration multiplier from 1.25 to 0.85 -PPsH-41 mid burst duration multiplier from 0.325 to 0.65 -Mid-range from 16 to 17 I changes the following values: MidAcc from 0.276 to 0.35 AimMid from 1.25 to 0.85 MidCooldown from 1.25 to 0.85 BurstLengthMid from 0.375 to 0.65 MidRange from 16 to 17 DPS to ranges 0/5/10/15/17/25/35 14.22 14.22 14.22 2.04 0.99 0.33 0.12 14.22 14.22 14.22 4.79 2.59 0.62 0.12 Increase 1.00 1.00 1.00 2.35 2.62 1.87 1.00 I was going to do the same about Storm-troopers Stormtroopers -MP40 reload frequency from 4/5 to 6 -MP40 reload from 2.8/3.5 to 2.8 -MP40 near cooldown from 0.325 to 0.15 but I found no value that made sense for near cooldown since "NearCooldown" value is 75%. Thread: wrong weapon category2 Sep 2018, 14:54 PM The weapon m1_81mm_mortar_white_phosphorous_barrage_dot_mp is listed as small arms. I am not sure if it used by any unit but is that category correct for the weapon since other dot abilities have it as explosive? In: COH2 Bugs

Not sure if I understand the question correctly but currently the ability has the following effects (according to the guide): +40% received accuracy, -50% accuracy, +1% suppression, squad moves extra slowly After 5 seconds of being active: +1% additional suppression, +3% additional accuracy After 10 seconds of being active: (if the squad is still alive) +3% additional suppression, +4% additional accuracy, -87.5% cool-down ~~Since one has to actually hit to apply suppression and~~ BAR/Lmg19191 ~~tend to hit more they~~ add more suppression and thus make the ability better, regardless at what vet the ability becomes available. My point was that by delaying the ability and moving to vet 1 one could buff it with a lower risk of it becoming problematic. In: COH2 Balance

If you play the game, you do not make personal comments and make suggestions on how to improve the game (and have not seen any evidence to the contrary), then NO it does not involve you. Thread: Feedback for Commander Revamppatch2 Sep 2018, 12:51 PM After playing a bit with MOD: Pioneers 5 men with a ~~g43 and~~ flamer from CP 2 is over the top imo and could prove really problematic. Suggestions: G43 and flamer should be mutually exclusive imo. Alternative instead ~~of the g43 and~~ another CQC one could have the upgrade turn them into repair support pioneers that are already in the game in "heavy support armor" commander (and in TOW mission if i remember correctly). Officer: Suggestions: Think it would be interesting to rename the officer "infantry officer" and later add separate "Luftwaffe" (already in game)and "Artillery field" officers with different abilities and bonus. Storm troopers: Imo storm troopers having only Shreck upgrade as stock makes little sense. They seem inferior to camo PGs. Suggestion: The unit has actually become allot weaker as an AT unit since its AI will be lower in most ranges than that of SP with shrecks. In addition the vehicle detection ability is too weak. Suggestions: Shreck upgrade now gives storm troopers the "Hafthohlladung" magnetic mine modeled after UKF gammon bomb but sticky. Alternative replace shreck with a flamer that has an ability that creates DOT (already in game in the campaign). If one want to keep tactical Advance, make it the vet 1 ability and add passive healing. In: Lobby

No RE are better than CE in all ranges and actually RE become much better at close range. Check cruzz or firesprak. Volley fire is problematic because it available from start and has to be balanced with and without weapon upgrade. Imo the best way to balance the ability would be to become vet 1 that scales with veterancy (penalties reduced bonus increased with each vet level) and/or require a weapon (M1919 or bar). In: COH2 Balance

They also have better DPS the combat engineers at all ranges. That combat abilities are in line with other units of their class and cost. Penal simply shred pioneers that try to close in. Using conscripts squad as targets might influences the results due to incremental accuracy. Weapon are designed vs specific target that usually do not include allied squad. In: COH2 Balance
