See that happen almost every game. For me, it seems to happen mostly to panthers, but that's just what I've noticed the most. |
Allied Supply Drop is basically munitions for fuel, and drops in base. The Ostheer version is like 150 manpower for either munitions or fuel, but require a munitions or fuel point to drop.
If here's going to be some Allied supply thing for Soviets, I'd just make it a resource conversion by time similar to Redistribute Resources; you spend X amount of manpower now, and your munitions and/or fuel income is raised so that it gains Y amount of said resources over Z amount of time. What you don't get is an immediate conversion of X for Y without any factoring for Z.
This doesn't require any micromanagement, and also doesn't break team games because it only affects you. No nonsense that involves planes or crates or where they go.
You mean bring back what Relic vowed to destroy? |
Yes, the G43 stats for Pgrens are vastly different than Gren G43s. I believe one G43 is better close range while the other is better long range.
But, with an educated guess in mind, Stormtroopers would most likely get the Pgren G43s, as they share Pgren Price, Portrait, and Voice Clips
Na, they get the Gren version. I just checked. |
Most Likely, But I really disagree with that in my humble opinion.
If you wanted G43s and Camo, there are like 2 other commanders that have that same combination. Elite Troops already got changed too much.
Besides, I love Stormtroopers. But I would love them more if they didn't cost 6 million munitions to upgrade.
Yea, I meant the ambush camouflage. The only reason why I'd prefer it over stormtroopers is because it fits much more into the doctrine. The doctrine's main focus is to buff your infantry and units. Stormtroopers in this game are meh at best, and really belong in the Encirclement doctrine, not the Elite Troops doctrine. Right now, there's no reason why you would go stormtroopers over panzergrenadiers in the Elite Troops doctrine, but for the Encirclement doctrine, you would at least have a reason (to cut supply lines leading up to close the pocket). Also, quick correction: The combo is only in one other commander. |
I like the suggestions minus elite troops.

I'd also like to throw in a couple other ideas:
- Soviet's 'Allied Supply Drop' - Increase Cost by 15 munitions. Cannot drop in base sectors. Supply plane flies faster; therefore, it's less likely to be shot down.
- Soviet B4 - Increase accuracy of projectile. Increase reload time.
- British Valentine - Decrease CP requirement by 1 OR increase main-gun damage.
- M8 Greyhound - Decrease reload. Increase damage by 20.
- Ostheer - Elite Troops - Replace stormtroopers w/ camouflage (It fits in much better than stormtroopers).
- OKW Flak Emplacement - cannot decrew unless the flak gun itself is at 25% health or lower. Also make it stop shooting the ground 99% of the time.
Everything else that I wanted to mention is already part of the OP.

ZZzZzZzzZzZ BF1 here we go
All aboard the hype train!

Well, for some reason, you can get main gun criticals on the 250 for some reason, so a gunner on top could work...
But Reinforce for the 250? nah B. that's too much they could reduce the fuel by 5.
M3 Half-Track Repair Upgrade could work, but I feel Pre-Vet 1 Unit inside the vehicle is the easiest and most effective route, Your getting early game units in the mid game with a fuel cost and a pretty weak vehicle, the Vet 1 easily justifies the mid-game entry and the fuel cost.
Giving the half-track itself a mg-42 upgrade option for 60 munitions would be nice. It would at least give it a greater purpose if for some reason the passengers died. |
Few short points:
1. 100% agree with turning Dora gun to local version of "V1 rocket". But keep in mind - in CoH 1 V1 had almost 20 seconds drop time without flares but with noisy sound. So, it would be more fair to take Dive bomb as V1, but... bomb is bomb and 803mm gun is 803mm gun. Btw, good idea, but it should have little bigger droptime and not 3 but 5 min cooldown, cos otherwise people will abuse it massively, like they do sometimes with same Dive, destroying your defences and units everywhere.
Stormtroopers with ScopeSTGs
I'll compromise by changing it to 240 seconds. Just to make it a bit less open for abuse, I'll change it to 250 munitions cost.
Nevermind on that, actually, it's already rather difficult to abuse considering OST is a muni-heavy faction. Sorry for changing my mind so much, and making this mess. Anyways, I'll agree that a 5 minute change would be a great improvement.
Also, stormtroopers... elite infantry?
Here are some other changes suggested on the official forums that I intend to add:
Model health from 80 to 82 for KCH.
Zeal cost from 150 to 100 munitions.
Model reinforcement cost from 90 to 70 for KCH. |
The OKW AA Half-track and the 2 cm flak emplacement definitely need buffs. I'd suggest giving the AA Half-track increased health and a quicker setup time. The 2 cm flak emplacement shouldn't be able to be de-crewed. I'd rather keep the AA Half-track primarily AI & AA rather than all of the above. Either way, sturmpios + raketen + volk snare = enough AT. |
