first of all, the bazooka have trouble penetrating axis medium, unlike the schreck.
secondly, the bazooka can easily be nerfed and were crap for a while. the USF doesn't really depend on them, making it easier to lower the bazooka's effectiveness without breaking the faction.
it was either nerfing the schreck or replacing it.
I'd prefer to rather allow only one bazooka per squad. The only exception for this will be the captain. The caption should get 2 bazookas for 80 munitions via his upgrade. The limitation would not be achieved by increasing the amount of slots it takes up just for the sake of allowing infantry to pick up an additional slot item.
This should decrease the amount of bazookas you'd see. If not, it would hopefully at least be a step along the way towards a better future. |
There's a reason the panther was nerfed down to the level it is in right now.
To put it simply the panther can't have evertything. It's combination of speed, armor, and range already makes it more then capable of diving to kill tanks and escaping from potential threats. Better then anything the allies have, only the comet comes close and is still waeker in the AT department despite higher price.
It has a low rate of fire to give the allied players a chance to actually react to it and save their armor, something that was found to be needed after years of axis having a pretty much uncontested late game advantage.
I'd like to suggest removing it from the game in that case. The P4 + StuG seems to cover everything now; therefore, it would be a mere waste of resources for someone to purchase it. |

Before bar blobs could ruin volks blobs easily, you can say goodbye to this now thanks to supression.
Before trucks can be destroyed with infantry, you can forget about that thanks to supression aswell. Instead now tracks can be destroyed by "skillfull" point and click major arty. Its also very bad as provides little counterplay and requires little skill to use.
Before countering allied static play was relied on stukas, which, if delayed, could be too late to turn the fight. Now? Who the hell needs stukas, just rush op jp4s asap to counter any tanks and spam arty with lol 5 vet levels everywhere on most mp rich faction in the game. Especially, near your med truck where you can reinforce it if its ever wiped by counterbarrages (and also reinforce durring barages, which reduces wipe and vet loss risk).
Game just lost so much strategic depth its sad.
And what? Calliope (as many other op bs units like TA and rifle flamers before) was also in just one doctrine, it never keept it form being op as hell and this doctrine picked in every game. Same happened with forti, which are very strong now, if not stronget owerall doctrine in team games.

Personally I don't agree many of Miragefla's changes even if I respect his effort. I see a lot of flawed changes in Mirage's mod and I am worried seeing it going into the vanilla game.

No. Sidetechs with hefty costs are added to the faction. Volks lack a purpose now, so you will have to invest your manpower on multiple different units.
No more manpower 'float' whatsoever.
