Air superiority OBVIOUSLY shouldn't wipe full hp okw trucks, that's just bad for design, BUT it should actually wipe medium tanks, troops and static defenses, unlike the preview version, which has a chance to wipe tanks and infantry. It's a big chance, but it still isn't certain. I think everybody had this game on Crossing (well, pretty much every game on Crossing) where double OKW just turtle 2 VPs behind 2 flaktrucks protected by a shitton of ISGs, puppchens and panthers, killing all attempts at breakthroughs, indirect fire or combined arms. Air Superiority is the British way of breaking that stalemate, and the schwerers will most likely be destroyed in the following assault. There's the subtle difference between simply wiping full hp trucks or scaring off/killing their defences to assault them with troops, and right now, Air Superiority does neither. |
If everyone were to test all abilities this way the game would be at such a better place , that's a great attitude XD.
But then again no ability should be able to wipe OKW trucks so easily and i think the reason ppl complain about it is the "skill" part, it requires basically no skill to execute while ur opponent has to move his entire defensive line within seconds
Ironicallly damaging OKW trucks is the only thing it is good at now. Tanks usually survive the bombing and sometimes even infantry does. |
You answered the question yourself. It destroys the HQ's completely without giving a chance to defend or repair after the attack. Thats fundamentally op
Then why not put a damage modifier to prevent okw base deaths without medium tanks and fortifications surviving the bombing with 25-50% hp? |
Lmao I have been playing the patch all day vs good players. Commandos are now pointless for their cost, same for churchhill, but the tommy buff is incredible. Just blob tommies into cromwell/comet spam and its unbeatable... they reinforce cheaper than grens and fucking slaughter everything its funny as fuck. GG Lelic.
Tommy blobs? Really? They can't even handle a single MG in garrison. Commandos are just fine for 350 MP, the glider cost is another issue. |

It's not about commandos (they are fine at 350 MP), it's about the underperforming glider.
You are mostly using it as a reinforce bunker, not behind enemy lines.
Then the whole point of a glider insertion is gone. It's meant to land behind the enemy lines, and if I want a renforce point, I'd just use the vanguard glider instead. |
