Shrug, try it in cheat mod a few times dude and let me know. unbraced you only need to land 4 or so (the rockets have AoE remember) and the 17 pdr is freakin gigantic.

Firstly, a well placed stuka can outright kill a 17 pdr from max health but besides that.

Ummmm... It is the single best counter to emplacements in the game bar zeroing artillery. Yes brace negates a portion of damage first time round but you should be either using the stuka to force a brace and then push for a kill with an incendiary nade or panzerschreks. Or attack it and force them to brace and then stuka them when they are on cooldown. Regardless, OKW have plenty of options. Any attack without follow up rightly is less rewarding, as is true throughout this game. Thus when using a stuka you should have some follow up. If it's really that much of an issue, just build a second stuka and the 17 pdr is dead every time.
Or you play against a competent player who hears the stuka coming, doesnt brace because it doesnt do a significant amount of damage due to its linear spread, and just repairs with engies. You have spent 100 fuel to not counter a cheaper unit, Congratulations you have played yourself. |
P4 armor adventage is superior to easy8 measly 80hp because it lets you avoid potentialy many more shots instead of one guaranteed snare for easy8.
- Snares arnt guaranteed, there is no guarantee you get to 15 range to be fausted.
- Sure it could "potentially" deflect more shots, but that isnt the average case. Luckily we have a thing called probability and expected values to determine this. No matter which way you cut it being able to survive an additional tank shot is better that 20 Armour.
- More armour is only better vs low pen. To bad TDs are ubiquitous on the allied side, meaning that this armour is useless.

We need to bring mid and late game cons on the level of LMG grens, so they actually can contest any infantry.

The only change Volks need is a weapon slot more. I can't stand the incredible amount of times multiple StG Volks squads had to pass by dropped Brens and Bars only for the enemy to take them back.
Or at least let them replace a STG with a dropped weapon or even baring that atleast let them salvage them. |

For example, how can you say the Kubel under performs when the wc51 for 10 manpower less can transport units, cap, upgrade to have a gun that has more dps and range (and can suppress can it not?), has more Armour, has mark target and can call in artillery? |

Originally USF dint have a t0 mortar, nor rocket artillery. Placing a forward t3 is a terrible idea with how much artillery exists in this game currently. Futhermore back then OKWs leigs could actually deal with team weapons attacking t3. |
