As I said, I'm from Ukraine. Soviets defeated us in 1920. Many people of our country died like in yours. In 1932-1933 we had genocide of our nation which called "holodomor". There are millions of innocent victims of the bloody soviet rule. I'm not saying that i like soviets. I'm just explain why we celebrating victory day. It's your right not celebrate this day but you must understand why we do. Dude you are so right about this..., I completely understand what's the celebration in hearts of the people themselves and I do fully respect it. Meanwhile you have to understand that quoting Putin with such a "novel" is why people get angry - cuz that quote is full of bullshit. Saying this - while not only denying occupation and war crime on many ex-soviet union "member" countries as well as even now-days instigating russian people living in those countries against the liberty, language and culture - is like a spit in a face to everyone who had their children..., brother/sister, wife or husband brutally murdered in front of them those many years ago... Even today Russia deny that there were any deportations, occupation whatsoever or any war crime... Watch the video up there I posted (includes english subtitles) to know why this is so ironic. I will repeat myself that this celebration within the people celebrating remembrance for war veterans in Red-amry is honorable and I respect that, tho not that is quoted in this post... In: News

Then father's relates..., whole families were arrested and deported to Siberia and also one family in Jugla which touched Latvian flag when Germans moved trough. Russians took and killed everyone who retreated till the last member on the family, also woman and kids..., only their feet were left outside the land. Tho the ignorance by Russia to historical accuracy up until now-days is unacceptable. And the celebrations to call free-will - hmm. Technically they are - tho that advertising in Latvia sponsored by real money of Russia's embassy, when it happens even over national Remembrance days in some cases - makes it a less to respect. There are legitimate weaknesses in the current game... but these aren't even factually accurate differences between CoH1 and CoH2. Other than resource layout being horizontal. But that's a pretty lame reason to prefer CoH1. Specifically dealing with side armor... the only way I would want side armor to be lower than front armor is if angular impact was calculated.. and since we're not there in CoH2, it would be a really bad idea. I'm also curious why certain people lazily throw around "dumbing down the game for casuals" when there are plenty of additions to this game - special abilities for veteran units, blizzards, etc. - that undeniably raise the skill cap. Even the upkeep system punishes players for mindlessly producing units as fast as possible, as they could be stuck with a lot of weak units instead of a more balanced army. But yes, horizontal resource layout is still bad. Who are you to judge my arguments to be false or true? I have my own opinion, and it is what I stated above and are valid. If you cannot counter them 1-by-1 giving a proper counter-argument for each - then just shut the **** up or do not QUOTE me! If you do not see the resource layouts, map design, pop-cap as a HUUUUGE difference - then what we're talking about? What lvl were you on vCOH in any of Automatch modes to state to know what I am even talking about??? I-am not sure about side armor tho - vCOH had a side armor. Sorry about that. Noone is afraid of starting over - basically all were eaqualled to lvl 10 when 2.602. We just need everything working for ppl to be motivated to "comeback". But..., if the COH1 even could get some improvements, like (mentioned before) anticheat, steam-stats, embeded solutions for steam modules, this game could outlive coh2 - i bet In: COH Central

OP: Sometimes running in borderless windowed mode clears stuff up: add "-window" to the launch options via Steam. Also add -lockmouse so that you can scroll around. This is because SLI does work only for full-screen applications so running in Windowed will make no use for SLI whatsoever. If you can't google for this issue - i would rly suggest you to sell both cards and go with a single-card solution... In: COH Central

So Quazal servers are down, all you got is Steam version of COH, you run it - you are shocked of how much is missing, how glitchy and buggy it is and then tabbing in NEWS teb - all you see despite news is TIP OF THE DAY...
