Personally I'm not hyped at all to see maps removed, the game has a small selection of maps in the automatch as is.
Not all of them may be balanced perfectly, but that doesn't matter for the vast majority of players.
Im pretty sure they are gonna be replaced by new ones though, right?
So dont worry about smaller selection |
Somehow, I speculate that neither Moscow nor Road to Kharkov are getting taken out, esp Moscow doesnt even match the lettering if u dont count "outskirts"
Thats almost a hype killer, but oh well; hopin for the best |
No |
Eh, kind of
Airstrikes that have identical purpose and damage probably should
But smoke drops having same delay as AT bombin runs and those having the same delay as anti-inf strafes would make no sense |
Makez senze but its a bit too late for such a thing Im afraid
Besides 64bit, simple unit value tweaks are all we can expect
I wish I´d be wrong though |
Honestly, that sounds underwhelmin, try to do something more impactful,
Like engies having chance to accidentaly blow themselves up with mines they plant, or Machineguns gettin jammed when under fire of a blob, retreating squad having 10% chance to lose navigation and head for enemy base instead, etc.
That would make the game much more fun |
It would be great, but... nope, no code or anim for it, AFAIK |
Most of these changes are great, but the IS capping speed un-buff is not good idea, it just demotivates from goin non-4 IS builds
Its the bolster than needs to come a little later, or maybe be tied to individual squads instead of global upgrade
Still, huge thumbs up for the mortar pit thing |
Huge thumbs up for comin up with a clever thread and even focusin on the QoL issues:
My additions:
1)Fix the damn inf movement system. No more derpin on the spot. The very first priority when recievin a move order should be to GTFO of the spot where they currently are, and only after that should they try to reorganize the formation. Make nades dodgin great again
2) Handbrake for infantry
3) If a unit gets attack order on target thats out of its range, it will advance to engage it. Thats OK. But when it gets ordered to shoot somethin that already is in range, it should not chase it once the target gets out of range
4) USF crews should not be automatically (i.e. without recievin an order) tryin to repair any other vehicle than their own |
Thats hardly bipolar, AT satchels are CQB as well |
