i just subtly noticed all the infantry units of US forces are not wearing canvas leggings i wonder why i just hope when relic updates with the coming of the british forces they would make aesthetics changes to USF as well for those of you who dont know what canvas leggings are here is an example they look more cooler if they had that imo

Give the Sherman a dozer upgrade and call it a day for crushing terrain if USF really needs a crusher or if you really hate shrubbery, shoot the terrain peice with attack ground. As for Pershing and Calliope, only if they are doctrinal and are in separate docs.
USF doesn't need these things aside from having more toys to play with. Their core just needs some tuning, not redesigns or crazy overhauls. And they should not be crutching on these units like Soviets were a patch or so ago.
sherman dozer may have a 105mm howitzer but its made to tackle infantry, light armor and structures. its not like the ISU-152 unfortunately. you may be entitled to your own opinion but i still champion the idea of putting the pershing into the USF arsenel especially if a lot of people such as myself are asking for it |
i recalled a tuning mod in the steam workshop called all units mod had that where if you "accidently" bought a unit you didn't want or wanted to free up pop cap instead yolo suiciding you had the option to do so why isn't it implemented into MP as of yet? its in SP so i see no harm of having it in there as a useful mechanic to free up pop space for all the factions |
how do you think the M24 Chafee would play out if it was implemented into the USF arsenel a light jack-of-all trades tank or just like the M5 Stuart?

it appears that only the king tiger has been excluded from the heavy tank limit meaning that players from the OKW side can produce as many King Tigers as their pop cap and fuel can afford them which is really concerning I hope relic can patch this "exploit" that way only one heavy tank whether its a king tiger or jagdtiger can be deployed at a time just like all the other factions being that a king tiger is classified as a heavy tank regardless of call-in or not |

Shermans arent heavy tanks, especially one with less armor than the E8 and 720 odd hp (crapdozer, the one that magically gains survivability with vet, but actually vets like a normal sherman which does not involve survivability)
And... Relic did say no heavy tanks for USF but apparently they had a Pershing in the works (overrated tank that did not serve in the Battle of the Bulge, unlike some sherman variants i just mentioned). As well as calliope model and stuff.
Also, i stopped reading the post at "compstomp". Nvm, read to the part that said ISU's can somehow flank things.

OKW is the weakest faction, but you wouldn't know since you've never played any other faction but the USF Axis aren't even a guaranteed victory in 3v3's because even with my expertise with PRoKW in 2v2's and 1v1's, I lost to a 3 man USF stack once.
you wouldn't be saying that if OKW had OST covering their backs they are a nasty combo when working together i've seen it with my own two eyes... |
How does "experience from previous comp stomps" prove that USF need a heavy tank like the Pershing? Besides, the USF already have a heavy tank, it's called the Sherman Bulldozer.
Shermans were classified as medium tanks not heavy tanks BIG difference. and comp stomps provide invaluable insight on the performance of the units. in-game shermans can only take 3-4 shots from the axis heavies before they are destroyed comp stomp included. M36 Jacksons are not the answer either because they need armor or infantry support to escort them in order to protect themselves. therefore USF is in DIRE need of a tank that can take more 4 than hits and have an even harder hitting gun. thats why USF needs the M26 Pershing |
You forgot the Kappa at the end of your sentence. Most people would agree that OKW is the weakest 1v1 faction right now, yet you keep towing the "USF is weakest faction" line.
REALLY? OKW being THE WEAKEST!?! Maybe in a 1v1 match but its the other way around especially in 3v3 and 4v4 matches I've had those little ghey uberwagen shut me down easy because its a mobile MG on wheels and then they bring that big flaktrack and just camp there until the end of the game |
