maybe if the m24 replaced the stuart and the 76mm sherman (not necessarily E8) replace the stock sherman.
but which light tank would you prefer if you had a choice the M5 Stuart or the M24 Chaffee? |
with the British forces coming into the fray USF is in dire need for new hardware and toys to play with. currently USF units are of hand-me-down quality. i just hope that after the release of the brits USF will have new units such as the M4A3E2 Jumbo, T34 Calliope, M24 Chaffee and the M26 Pershing to add more variety in late game |
can anyone predict which unit in the British arsenal relic will unveil next. personally i would like to see the Sherman Firefly or Comet tank be next ones on the list after the Centaur AA tank. they already shown total the Churchill tanks, the AT sniper and the Centaur. what do you guys think will be the next unit to be shown? Leave comments and feedback below =) |
Maybe as a call in I guess. Its worth noting that Relic stated they have no intention of putting the M24 ingame along with the M26 for reason........
the only rts games that i can think of that had the M24 Chaffee were RUSE and the Men of War series i think from the looks of it the Chaffee has made very few appearances in most if not many WW2 games excluding World of Tanks but it would be nice to see the Chaffee in there as a call-in aside from that with the brits coming into the fray relic might want to rethink that decision |
well one thing is for certain is USF is in dire need of new hardware and toys to play with since axis is currently hogging and hoarding all of the best AT, armor and infantry in-game |
Yes they do. Although they rarely post, I do know they check site atleast as much or more then the official forums.
as long as they read the stuff or feedback we post in here that's the most important thing more important then them posting stuff themselves. |
Crazy idea, let's make them work with their unique vet 3 benefit: The -50% ability cooldown reduction.
The cost of abilities are reduced by #%, # being a fair and balanced number.
The current cooldown reduction can be pretty nice, but ability cost is also a significant barrier to using abilities, so...let's make them work late-game through that. Can't win by shooting, win by grenades.
that doesn't sound like fun does it? |
maybe. they used to at least check things out once or twice a week but then there was the whole kubel trolling issue and they mostly stopped posting.
but do they read the stuff we post especially in the balance and general discussion forums? thats what i want to know |
as the post says do the devs at relic look into these forums aside from the other one they "have"
it would be nice they look into our feedback regarding to the state of the game so they can adjust accordingly |
I completely agree that the USF should be the faction with a commander called "Close Air Support". They had way more support late war than the Germans for sure. I also agree that the USF should have better indirect fire options. I would be happy with just a mortar team to dislodge MG spam in buildings and bunker spam.
STOP WITH THE PERSHING. Give us Sherman Jumbo's which were used much more than the Pershing and would fit into the Faction much more seamlessly. Sherman Jumbo would be able to absorb damage and deal it almost as effectively as a heavy tank.
you do understand that the sherman was classified as a medium tank and not a heavy tank it may have more armor but unfortunately at the end of the day its still a medium tank. but it would be nice welcome addition to the USF alongside the M26 Pershing |
