it is ur second post in this thread about this subject, so ill take the bait and answer ur question (im not a historican).
CAS was invented by the axis, germany to be precise. the wehrmacht and the luftwaffe were the first armies who operated closly together to get a maxim combat effectiness.
CAS has NOTHING to do with air superioty, it is more easily done with air superiorty but CAS is doable without too.
next time keep ur american patriotism and inform urself first pls..
lol maybe allied air power (p-47, IL-2, Typhoon) shud be on par with the axis CAS then and each and every allied commanders have access to one air support option. that one bomb kills all that the axis currently have really scares me |
I do love the irony of OKW getting the most manpower, given that, well, manpower was entirely their problem in the real world, hence the crapload of automatic weapons and somewhat-trained Volksgrenadiers.

They were working their way into my good books, then the September 17th patch happened and they didn't even hotfix the issues in time for OCF qualifiers... Incredibly disappointed with Relic

Brit has very terrible early. All you can do is hold out until Centaur arrive.
At tier1, Mortar and Sniper wreck havoc in Brit line.
At tier2, fast 222 and pak will bleed Brit MP.
If Bren Carrier is used, then 222 simply out tech quickly. If not, then good luck with sniper harassing your troop all day.

it can't even kill a sniper even with the buffs without upgrades, I tried going after one in a building and it was going to take like 20 seconds to kill it. i feel like thats a problem

Indeed. Balance is important, but so is fun. Rock-paper-scissors seems pretty balanced to me, but we sure don't play that (...much, anymore).
that rock-paper-scissor balance was implemented in World in Conflict. all units of every faction had the same amount of HP and damage whether it was a tank unit or an infantry unit. too bad the asymmetrical balance relic had in mind sounded good on paper but impractical in reality. they shud move it to the rock-paper-scissor balance instead just like WiC. |

This would be preferable.
In terms of authenticity the Amis having the only totally RNG based off-map also makes no sense, because the Amis were known for pinpoint laser arty irl.
