IDK, I find that after the AoE buff last patch that Vet0 ISGs are pretty effective - considering they removed scatter Vet from Mortars it doesn't make sense to move up scatter Bonuses for ISG. Otherwise you run risk of ISG spam dominating again (especially when supported by forward trucks.) |
Dear God, I can only imagine the time and effort it took write that wall of crap complaining about basic game mechanics like suppression and sight. Just do yourself a favor and uninstall the game if you hate it that much because it's never going to change into something you want. |

Tommies with pyrotechnic supplies are highly underrated IMO - bonus sight and the arty is rather good now at both countering support weapons or area denial |
Simple way to improve counter play vs. Rifle Grenades
Ask yourself "Is my squad bunched up behind yellow cover" Yes? -> Pay extra attention for Rifle Grenade. No? -> Don't worry so much because it's probably not worth it for OST player to blow munitions to kill a couple of models.
It wouldn't be the worst thing ever if they added something like .9 damage modifier for explosive damage in yellow cover so cover bunching doesn't overly punish you but *shrug* it's not that big of an issue IMO |
Panic Puma with Mobile Defense is indeed the easiest way to counter it. Otherwise just put Teller mines on roads and choke points where the T70 has to path and enjoy watching it explode. Players at lower skill levels rarely sweep for mines so with good placement they'll likely pay off. |
+1 to bringing back Einhoven Country in exchange for one of the more hated maps. It had a few balance issues that could easily be fixed but otherwise I always enjoyed playing on it. |
300 MP is a cheap unit? Never mind you have to build T1 so your early field presence is bad and it takes a long time to field multiple Penals. Penals also lose 3 SVT models for PTRS (50% of DPS just like Shreks while Shreks have much better damage). AT Satchel has super short range now AND regular satchel has super long fuse - so if you lose a squad to satchel that is purely a micro error on your part. They are finally in a good place now after they were OP for a long time after the inital rework of them. |
Not a great doctrine unless you want to cheese OKW in early game before they get faust with clown car action and use that to snowball. Otherwise pretty much any other commander does what Mechanized can do better. |
