Isn't that reasonable? Either way, the fact that a TD that costs 50 fuel more has to use over 100 munitions to beat a StuG assuming both are in a straight up duel firing at each other says all it needs to. In: COH2 Balance

Sure, the Firefly has to spend munitions, land the skillshot, is perfectly supported by 6 pounders, and is in a situation to fully utilize it's range with sight. Sure it's always a slam dunk for the Firefly. It's not like you are never on a more cramped map, StuGs never use Target Weak Point, and OST doesn't have PAKs. In: COH2 Balance

Most people usually go for 3 Rifles (maybe 4 if you have a poor fuel start and can't tech up). Anything beyond that and you're setting yourself up for manpower bleed. In: US Forces Strategies
Thread: Firefly need to be cheaper14 May 2018, 01:15 AM I tend to agree that at most FF needs a slight cost decrease in cost to reflect the nerfs it's gotten over time - otherwise it's a solid TD when supported. The only other thing is that it may just be me but I feel like Tulips can be pretty buggy - I know that they are a skill shot but sometimes I feel like elevation and such can really mess with them. If they were a bit more consistent that wouldn't be terrible. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Volley fire on REs14 May 2018, 00:59 AM The only way Volley Fire is ever worth anything is if the REs are firing at a squad that isn't engaging them - like I'll try to use it if there is are Sturms charging my Riflemen hoping the suppression will kick in to turn the engagement. Even then the suppression is so low that it's not guaranteed. Otherwise the accuracy penalty is so high that the REs die in 2 seconds if they get targeted. In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Need help vs brit emplacements11 May 2018, 23:23 PM The old school method for dealing with emplacements is mortar halftrack using incendiary shells- most bang for your buck damage wise and is hard to kill with counter barrage. Thread: AA units performanche in comparison11 May 2018, 15:03 PM Well, IL2 and P47 are getting nerfed so this is going to become much less of an issue as they become less meta-y. You also have to consider overall synergy of AA units - OKW is almost always going to have Flak HQ available to chip in AND Axis almost always has several other tanks with Pintle MGs that also chip in with AA damage - so it's not like Axis is hurting for AA. Especially in team games where AA gets magnified with multiple players. Meanwhile USF having a AAHT in the late game is way more the exception than the rule and Kraut Mower is almost never built except explicitly for AA duties. Could Ostwind be better at AA? Probably - but it's not a big deal. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: better british grenade(WP and rifle grenade) 11 May 2018, 14:45 PM Technically Brits are designed so that Wasp and Sniper with 100% accuracy can be used to clear garrisons. That being said I feel like Wasp is somewhat UP and if Sniper changes happen then 100% accuracy won't be special anymore so WP Grenades would be kinda cool - not that I think relic would accept a big-ish change like that at this stage in the game. I also don't think Mill Bombs are that bad since they are much cheaper than USF grenades to unlock and are good both defensively and for getting rid of squads trying to stall VP capping. And neither the french army nor Japan nor Italy had something they could use vs a tank heavier than a Panzer II. Plus it's not like Relic has a history of introducing OP Heavy Tanks into the game or anything... I mean, I like to think Relic could get their shit together and introduce game mechanics where a heavy tank would have enough vulnerability to low-tech counters but I'd believe it when I would see it.
