I do feel like Anvil is kind of less attractive now that Comet isn't absolute Trash. Heavy Sappers have always been kind of weird since the Vickers has complete opposite damage curve of Stens. I think if you gave them a Suppression ability that would fit the defensive theme of Anvil OR if Heavy Sappers gained an Emplacement Garrison Bonus +1 so that if you park them inside an emplacement then it's a bigger bonus than usual. Edit - Also please fix "Hold the Line" in Special Weapons or replace it with another ability. Also Pak Howie damage nerf kthxbye. In: COH2 Balance

This is problem especially in 3vs3 and 4vs4 where the CP gain in longer and the shire volume of artillery can delete OKW easily. If one is not willing to remove the restriction at least make the requirement of Panzer Authorization a one time requirement so that if one loses the Schewerer Panzer can replace it without having to unlock the Panzer Authorization again. If only you were allowed to to place T4 inside your base where it was safe... I think the kids call it "risk/reward"? I don't play 3s and 4s but I'm fairly certain that most maps are all big enough so that even if you place T4 covering the 1st cap circle outside your base that it's safe enough that if you get pushed back that far then counterplay is fair enough. But in the end it does not matter how exactly it is calculated. Just if it can be abused in game. But we'll see. I like the general idea Knowing nothing about coding it might be cleaner if the T4 perk was an ability (either free or token cost - if you go the cost route it could be a bigger buff maybe). Then you just make it so that abilities like Counter-attack tactics overwrite the effect so it doesn't stack if it seems to be too much. OR if it does still stack then at least it's just one squad that you're paying a premium for the quick cap. In: COH2 Balance

In the last patch, the scatter was increased a lot, but nothing was done to the AoE or Damage values. Now, instead of consistently wiping models, it randomly wipes models - which is frustrating to both play with and against. One solution could be to revert (entirely or only partly) the accuracy changes, but decrease the damage/AoE. That way the units would be a more consistent damage dealers, rather than a unpredictable wiping machines. +1 As well although mostly for Pak Howitzer if the Balance team wants to keep it's larger AoE then they should reduce the damage done so that's it's consistent damage for glancing blows but doesn't wipe any slightly damaged squad immediately. It's definitely a balance issue for team games where it's a lot easier to park them behind shot blockers/ wall of support weapons and just let them do tons of damage with minimal input. It was only meta due to axis LV tearing Brits a new one because they lacked snares on sapper back then. So they nerfed AT Tommies, the weapon drop HT by adding tech requirement and nerfed croc a patch or two later. Meanwhile the defensive ability is still bugged and could probably be swapped with something more useful if it can't be fixed. (Land mattress?) Now the doctrine kind of sucks, left in the mediocre nerfbin alongside ostheer mobile defense. Land Mattress would actually be thematic fit as a "special weapon". Regardless I feel like something else that isn't a munitions hog needs to go into that Commander slot since munitions are going to get dumped into weapon drops and the Conc. Arty you would think. So good man that you get to pay even MORE fuel for a slightly better LMG that you can't even use anymore after your M3 eventually gets dived... In: COH2 Gameplay

The ability to actively target a zone (especially howies and rear line support weapons) and combo that with off-maps in team games is what makes Spec Ops more problematic since Early Warning can't be used that same way.
