I was always under impression that IS2/Pershing had larger AoE. I don't think Tiger needs to have best of all worlds but if the balance team thinks the current patch iteration is underwhelming then I think giving it back some of it's scatter is a potential solution. I assume that the previous patch kept heavies at the same relative ratios of scatter/AOE/ Etc. when they buffed them when it came to IS2 vs. Tiger main guns/ As such I would assume that reverting some of the scatter nerf wouldn't make the Tiger any better when compared to the other heavies than it had historically been in previous patches... Caveat of course being that I'm not diving into the stats here In: COH2 Balance

Would make the Tiger a wee bit more consistent at higher Vet with it's smalller AoE but not supper oppressive as a power spike. In: COH2 Balance

(Winter patch)21 Mar 2020, 18:28 PM While I applaud Tightrope for taking the time to demonstrate the Patch I would hesitate before placing too much stock into what it means. Keep in mind that these aren't same conditions you use the Tiger in game (he didn't upgrade the Pintle in the video) when you have that extra pintle damage alone then models drop off more quickly. Plus you have to take into account actual game conditions (unit synergies etc.) A lot more goes into whether the Tiger is useful than just the # of shots on average it takes to kill a squad. If it comes too early then you can always increase fuel by 5-10 to compensate I suppose. In: COH2 Gameplay

The choice between "OKW infiltration units or balance in game" is simply fictional. Except for the whole "pop out of garrison and insta nuke support weapons" or "pop out on retreat path and get guaranteed wipe because they arrive with 4X FGs" otherwise yes. Infiltration units are essentially removed from the game - Partysans aren't used much at all even after being redone and any time I see Infiltration Commandos used it's usually being called into base for reinforcement first thing. Also I personally see a distinction between Obers and Falls where Falls are more of glass cannon that arrive sooner whereas Obers have a higher scaling ceiling (IMO). I mean I guess we can give them an optional upgrade for Stormtrooper MPs with Tactical assault like other factions paratroopers shrug In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Pak Howitzer fix idea13 Mar 2020, 17:32 PM OP clearly wasn't around for the "Pak Howies don't autoface to attack targets" patch that everybody just loved and adored (heavy sarcasm). Pak howies just need their damage or Aoe toned down and maybe have scatter/cost etc. tweaked to compensate. I don't want an ISG clone but I feel like they are just far too lethal now but adding a micro tax dependent on specific units to using them will just remove them from the game entirely In: COH2 Balance

It might be cool if Vet 3 changed the officer to a STG similar to the OKW officer as well. I do feel like his Combat ability isn't quite as good as it should be. I honestly like the idea of this unit but every time I use him I feel disappointed lol In: COH2 Balance

In the end of the day if the risk is not worth the reward and currently in 4vs4 is not lets offer a discount to OKW that are built in base or even not allow them to be built outside the base. How does it make sense to encourage OKW to crutch on call-in doctrinal units in team games if their T4 is destroyed? You get all the reward of Flak cannon covering important ground and then can just call in Command Panther/Command Tiger/JT if it gets destroyed. Even if you force a token 60 fuel to rebuild base truck without the Panzer Auth. then the difference in 60 fuel between reteching PA + Stock unit and calling in a doctrinal unit favors the call-in almost every single time.
