So much fun when you overrun them with Medium tanks I do agree with Aerohank though that they should really streamline vehicle call-ins. I'm still kind of shocked that Lend-Lease kept their Sherman call-in. Though I can kind of get why relic didn't - deciding which building to move them to can potentially drastically affect unit timing. For example Puma in OST Tier 2 is a lot different then 5 CP Puma. What is this regular bonus? Effectively green cover in red cover? jeez.... Except this is obviously talking about the Reload speed bonus that Tommy's get when in cover. Basically Tommy's out of cover get their normal reload bonus and Tommy's in cover get Reload bonus AND an additional bonus on top of that. Given the CP level its probaly going to cost 50-75 Muni and only last 30 sec like For the Fatherland if I had to guess. Rakens are one of the least controversial units out there that's borderline underused and people still try to argue against a simple quality of life fix that's in line with currently exists and allows it to perform its intended role. If you're trying to argue that Snipers shouldn't be able to hold fire in buildings and therefore neither should Rakens I fail to see your point. To be honest I've never tried to do that with Snipers (entering a building with hold fire on). I assume the same thing with Rakens happens. No usable abilities in buildings unless you are HMGs is apparently the rule. With good reason. Can't tell if trolling... how is "Prioritize Vehicles" even considered an ability? More to the point - why would you ever want to garrison it to have it shoot at infantry: those sweet sweet rocket snipes that happen once in a blue moon? Or do you just enjoy having it shooting at anything and constantly telegraphing its position and totally negating the usefulness of the ability to garrison it? And yes, REs can use volley fire while garrisoned so it's not some "rule". In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: USF 1v1 vs. OKW mid rank11 Feb 2016, 14:10 PM I'm around the same rank and I find that the "Avoid Strums" is good advice. I've found that in games where I do well as USF is all about managing MP bleed early so you can start snowballing into light vehicles faster. If you have a bad engagement with Strums you'll waste precious time/MP on reinforcing. Strums and Kubels also do a good job of dinging up models without dropping them - I've found that knowing when to get an Ambulance sooner can help too. Personally I still like to use Rifle Company vs. OKW just because the Easy 8s make life vs. their more beefy PZ4 easier and WP smoke can be brutal on a forward HQ or if you need to force retreat a shrek blob. Fire Up is situationally good if you need to get space away from Strums or claim a building too. In: Strategy Desk
